Think CP700 or CP900 speakerphones carried between desks, WH66 or WH67 headset systems connected to office PCs, and fixed workstations where users shouldn’t have to pair through Windows Bluetooth every morning.
A 30-metre rated range sounds like overkill until you see how people actually work. Someone gets up from a workstation during a call. Another person walks to a printer. In a DMCC office, the desk may be five metres from the meeting table. You don’t need 30 metres every day, but having that headroom means normal desk movement isn’t limited to sitting directly beside the laptop.

BT50 is not the universal dongle for every current Yealink headset. Newer Bluetooth headset families may use BT51 or BT51-C instead. The connection works one layer further down. If your PC runs Microsoft Teams, a 3CX desktop client, Yeastar softphone, browser calling application or another compatible communications client, the software handles the call. The BT50 carries audio between that PC and the supported Yealink headset or speakerphone.
So an office using an Etisalat or du business voice service can still use Yealink audio hardware through a PC-based calling application where the telephone system supports it. The PABX and softphone deal with the extension. BT50 deals with the Bluetooth audio connection. Different jobs.
Pairing, Replacement and IT Support
