The Dubai package includes the BHC78 charging stand, so the headset has a fixed place on the desk instead of living beside a USB cable. Drop it on the stand when you leave. Pick it up for the next call. Desk Phones, PABX Systems, Etisalat and du — How the BH78 Actually Connects
The BH78 doesn’t register to a PABX by itself. There is no SIP account inside the headset. It connects to the device handling the call — usually a Windows or Mac computer, mobile phone, or a compatible business desk phone.
That means a 3CX, Yeastar, Grandstream, Avaya or other office PABX can still be part of the call path, but the BH78 sits at the user end. For example, an employee running a 3CX softphone on a laptop connects the BH78 to that laptop. The PBX handles the call. The headset handles microphone and audio.
The same applies to Etisalat and du business calling. The BH78 does not connect directly to an Etisalat or du SIP trunk. If the employee receives those calls through a supported softphone, Teams setup, mobile device or compatible desk phone, the headset is connected to that endpoint.
Using a physical desk phone?
Check the exact phone model before buying. Desk-phone support depends on the Bluetooth or USB capabilities of that phone.
