If you’re trying to cover a long executive boardroom, training room or a table where participants sit well beyond the SP92’s 4-metre pickup area, don’t solve it by placing the speakerphone at one end and turning the volume up. Move to a room system or larger conference-audio design. Using the SP92 with Etisalat, du and Office Phone Systems
One point to get clear before ordering: the Yealink SP92 is not a SIP desk phone and it doesn’t register directly to a PABX. There is no SIP account, extension number or Ethernet connection inside the speakerphone. It works as the microphone and speaker for the computer or mobile device running the call.
That means an Etisalat or du business voice service can use the SP92 when the call is being handled through a compatible desktop softphone, browser client or mobile application. The same applies to PC-based 3CX, Yeastar, Grandstream Wave and other SIP softphones: the application handles the telephone account, while the SP92 handles the audio through USB or Bluetooth.
