Yealink UH46 Dubai

Yealink UH46 Dubai

Open office. Twenty people on calls. HVAC running above the desks, keyboards going all day, and someone two seats away speaking louder than everyone else. That’s where a headset microphone matters more than another marketing badge.

The Yealink UH46 is a wired USB headset built for office users, call centres, support teams and shared workstations. Its 3-microphone system works with Yealink Acoustic Shield Technology 3.0 to reduce surrounding voices and background noise before they reach the person on the other end of the call.

The Dual version weighs 166 g, while the Mono version comes in at 127 g. Both use 35 mm speakers with a 20 Hz–20 kHz response range, plus replaceable memory-foam ear cushions covered in hydrolysis-resistant leatherette. Useful for Dubai teams wearing headsets through long shifts rather than one or two short calls.

Connection is USB-C, with a USB-A adapter included. The cable runs 0.65 m from the headset to the inline controller, then another 1.5 m to the USB connection. Call controls sit on the cable, and lifting the microphone boom mutes the call without hunting for a button.

Teams and UC versions are available. Dual busylights show colleagues when the wearer is on a call, and Yealink USB Connect plus Yealink Management Cloud Service give IT teams a way to manage larger headset deployments.

Yealink UH46 UAE stock for Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and all 7 emirates. Suitable for contact centres, reception desks, sales teams and everyday Microsoft Teams calling.

Description

Yealink UH46 USB Wired Headset Teams & UC Dubai

Twenty desks in one room. Teams calls running from 9AM, the AC pushing air above the workstations, keyboards going all day, and three people talking within a few metres of each other. The headset speaker isn’t usually the problem in that office. The microphone is. If it sends the whole room into the call, the person at the other end spends the meeting hearing your colleagues along with you.

The Yealink UH46 is built for that kind of desk. It uses a 3-microphone system with Yealink Acoustic Shield Technology 3.0 to focus on the wearer’s voice and reduce surrounding office noise before it reaches the far side. Wired USB-C connection keeps the setup simple, a USB-A adapter is supplied for older PCs, and there are Teams and UC versions for different desktop environments. For Dubai offices replacing older UH3x headsets across reception, customer service or sales desks, the UH46 is part of Yealink’s newer UH4x wired generation.

What the UH46 Is Actually Built For

This isn’t a wireless executive headset for somebody walking between meeting rooms. The UH46 is a wired desk headset. Plug it into the workstation and leave it there. No battery to charge before a shift, no Bluetooth pairing issue when another employee takes the desk, and no charging stand taking up space beside the keyboard.

That makes sense in call centres, service desks and fixed office workstations where the headset may be used for hours every day. Think customer support teams in Business Bay, reservation desks, inside-sales teams in JLT, reception staff, or a DMCC office with rows of agents working through Teams and browser-based calling platforms. Different use case from a Bluetooth model. More predictable.

It also sits naturally inside the wider Yealink headset range in Dubai. If the requirement is fixed-desk calling, UH46 makes sense. If users need to walk between rooms or take calls away from the workstation, a wireless BH or WH series model is the better direction.

Three Microphones — Because One Mic Hears Too Much

Acoustic Shield Technology 3.0

The UH46 uses a 3-microphone arrangement with Yealink Acoustic Shield Technology 3.0. The point isn’t to make the office silent for the wearer. It is to reduce surrounding sound reaching the remote participant, so the microphone gives priority to the person wearing the headset.

That distinction matters. In a glass-partition office, noise often arrives from both directions: voices from nearby desks and HVAC noise reflecting from hard surfaces. The person wearing the headset may still hear some of that naturally through the room. The important part is what gets transmitted down the call.

Yealink specifies a microphone frequency response of 100 Hz to 14 kHz. For business calls, that range is centred on speech rather than trying to behave like a studio microphone. The boom microphone also supports lift-to-mute. Raise the boom when somebody walks over to your desk, and the microphone mutes without needing to find the inline button.

Small detail. Useful in practice. Especially at a reception or support desk where conversations beside the workstation happen constantly.

35 mm Speakers and Dynamic EQ

Each UH46 uses 35 mm speakers with a specified 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response. That’s a wider playback range than the microphone itself because the headset isn’t limited to voice. Staff can move from a Teams meeting to training video, recorded calls or music without changing headsets.

Dynamic EQ

Dynamic EQ changes the headset’s audio behaviour depending on whether the user is on a voice call or listening to media. Speech needs clarity through the mid-range. Music and video need a broader response. The user doesn’t have to switch profiles every time.

For offices where the same employee spends part of the day on calls and part in browser training or recorded presentations, that’s more useful than it sounds. One headset. Different audio tasks.

Mono or Dual — Don’t Order the Wrong One

The UH46 comes in Mono and Dual versions. This is not just a comfort choice. It changes how much of the office the user can hear while they’re on a call.

Version Weight Where It Fits
UH46 Mono 127 g Reception, front desk, shared service points where the user must hear people in the room.
UH46 Dual 166 g Call centres, support desks and open offices where two-ear coverage helps the user focus on the call.

For a Dubai reception desk, Mono is often the practical choice because the employee still needs to hear somebody standing at the counter. For a 20-seat support floor, Dual usually makes more sense. The extra earcup reduces distraction from the room and keeps attention on the call.

Ear Cushions Made for Repeated Daily Use

Yealink specifies replaceable conical memory-foam ear cushions with hydrolysis-resistant leatherette. Replaceable matters when you’re buying 25, 50 or 100 headsets. An ear cushion is a wear item. Being able to replace it instead of throwing away the full headset changes the maintenance cost of a larger deployment.

The hydrolysis-resistant covering is also relevant in the UAE. Staff may arrive from outdoor heat, wear the headset for long periods, then wipe it down at shift change. Heat, moisture and repeated cleaning are exactly what make ordinary synthetic coverings crack and peel over time.

No headset material lasts forever. The useful point here is that the cushion itself can be replaced when it wears.

USB-C First, USB-A Still Covered

The UH46 connects by USB-C, and Yealink supplies a USB-A adapter in the package. That’s useful during PC refresh projects because Dubai offices rarely replace every workstation at once. New laptops may have USB-C only. Older desktop PCs under the same company may still rely on USB-A.

Cable layout is specific: approximately 0.65 m from the headset to the inline controller, followed by 1.5 m from the controller to the USB connection. The controller stays within reach on the desk instead of hanging beside the PC tower under it.

Dual Busylights

Visible busylights help nearby colleagues see that the user is on a call. In an open DMCC or DIFC office, that can prevent the shoulder tap that lands directly in the microphone halfway through a customer conversation.

The UH46 is sold in Microsoft Teams and UC configurations. The Teams version is the one to specify where Microsoft Teams is the standard desktop calling platform. UC is the broader choice for organisations using other compatible softphone environments.

For one or two desks, management doesn’t matter much. For 80 headsets across a contact centre, it does. Yealink lists support for Yealink USB Connect on PC and Yealink Management Cloud Service, giving IT teams a management path rather than treating every headset as an isolated peripheral.

That is the angle many buyers miss. A headset rollout isn’t only about what the agent hears. Somebody eventually has to support the devices across all those desks.

Which Desk Does the UH46 Fit?

Workplace Recommended UH46 Reason
Reception / Front Desk Mono Keeps one ear open for visitors and nearby staff.
Call Centre Dual Two-ear design suits sustained calling in busy rooms.
Sales / Support Desk Dual Teams or UC Choose the platform variant around the softphone environment.
Mobile / Roaming User Look at wireless models UH46 is designed around a wired workstation connection.

Not the right fit?

If the user needs to leave the desk while staying on calls, don’t buy a UH46 just because it’s cheaper than wireless. It’s a wired USB headset. Look at the Yealink wireless headset range instead. For fixed reception, sales, customer service and call-centre desks, the UH46 is the more straightforward setup.

Desk Phones, Softphones and Office PABX Systems

The UH46 is a USB headset. It doesn’t register to a PABX by itself and it doesn’t plug into an Etisalat or du telephone line. The call still runs through the user’s computer, compatible desk phone or communications application. The headset handles the microphone, speaker and call controls.

For PC users, connection is straightforward: USB-C directly, or use the supplied USB-A adapter where the workstation has an older USB port. That suits Microsoft Teams, compatible UC applications and browser-based calling setups used by support and sales teams.

Desk-phone deployments need one extra check. The phone itself must support the required USB headset connection and call-control functions. Don’t order 40 units based only on the fact that the office phones are Yealink. Send us the exact desk-phone model first. A T5-series phone, older T4-series handset and a PC workstation can have different connection requirements.

Using Etisalat or du?

The telecom provider doesn’t normally determine whether the UH46 works. The important part is the endpoint: PC, softphone or desk-phone model. If your company uses an Etisalat or du business voice service through a PABX, send us the phone model and calling application. We check the headset connection before the order is placed.

What Comes With the Yealink UH46

The core setup is designed around modern USB workstations. You get the UH46 headset with its inline control cable and the USB connection required for normal desk use. A USB-A adapter is supplied, so the same headset can be used across newer USB-C laptops and older USB-A desktop PCs.

The exact headset version matters when ordering. Teams and UC configurations exist, and Mono and Dual versions serve different desk types. A reception desk that needs one ear open shouldn’t receive the same configuration as a full-time call-centre agent working in a noisy room.

Not included — check before ordering

PC, laptop, desk phone and any desk-phone-specific interface hardware are separate. If the UH46 will be used with a physical phone rather than a computer, send the exact phone model before purchase so we can confirm the connection path. Replacement ear cushions can also be treated as maintenance items for larger deployments.

Why Hearing Protection Matters on an 8-Hour Desk

A headset used for a 15-minute meeting is one thing. A headset worn through a full customer-service shift is different. Sudden loud audio, repeated call volume and long daily exposure become purchasing issues, not specification-sheet trivia.

Yealink lists Peak Block EN50332, Australian G616 and Daily Noise Exposure Protection for the UH46. These functions are aimed at controlling excessive sound reaching the wearer rather than simply making the headset louder.

For a Dubai contact centre buying 60 or 100 units, this is the kind of detail procurement should check alongside price and microphone performance. The headset is being worn for hours. Comfort and controlled listening levels matter over the life of the deployment.

A Better Fit for Call Centres Than a Battery Headset

Wireless isn’t automatically the right answer. On a fixed BPO or customer-service floor, a battery adds another thing to manage. Someone forgets to charge it. A headset gets moved to another station. Bluetooth pairing follows the employee instead of the desk. At 8:55AM, that becomes an IT ticket.

UH46 avoids most of that because it stays physically attached to the workstation. An agent sits down, plugs into USB and starts work. For shared desks, rotating shifts and hot-seat support teams, the simplicity has value.

The 3-microphone Acoustic Shield 3.0 system is also aimed directly at the problem these floors have: adjacent conversations. In a 30-seat room near Sheikh Zayed Road, the agent isn’t trying to cancel silence. They’re trying to stop the customer hearing the person two desks away.

Managing 5 Headsets Is Easy. Managing 150 Is Different.

For a small office, headset administration might mean plugging each unit into a PC and leaving it alone. Large deployments are different. IT needs to know what devices are attached, how they’re configured and whether the estate can be handled without walking from desk to desk.

The UH46 supports Yealink USB Connect for PC management and Yealink Management Cloud Service. That gives IT teams a defined management route for larger headset estates instead of treating every headset as an unmanaged accessory.

Useful for multi-floor offices in DIFC. More useful when the same company has another 40 desks in Abu Dhabi and a support team in Sharjah.

Related Yealink Headsets — Pick by How the User Works

Don’t choose the next model up just because it costs more. Start with the job. Fixed desk, roaming user, one ear open, two ears covered, Bluetooth or DECT. That gets you to the right headset much faster.

Yealink UH34 — older wired USB option for offices standardising on a straightforward PC headset at a lower equipment tier.

Yealink UH38 — worth considering where users want a different wired headset format and the deployment isn’t limited to the UH4x generation.

Yealink BH70 — Bluetooth direction for staff who need to move away from the workstation during calls.

Yealink BH74 — wireless option for office users who divide the day between desk calls and movement around the workplace.

Yealink BH76 — Bluetooth headset for users who need wireless mobility rather than a headset permanently tied to one workstation.

Yealink WH64 — DECT and Bluetooth hybrid direction for users who need greater desk mobility and a different connection model from USB-only UH46.

Yealink BH78 — newer wireless option for buyers looking above the wired UH46 class for mobile office use.

Where We Normally Specify the UH46

Contact centres: Dual version on fixed workstations. Three microphones help reduce neighbouring voices reaching customers, while USB keeps shift changes simple.

Reception desks: Mono makes more sense where the employee needs the call in one ear but must still hear a visitor standing at the desk.

Inside-sales teams: A useful fit where staff spend much of the day in Teams or another compatible desktop calling application and don’t need to roam away from the PC.

Shared service desks: Wired connection removes charging from the shift-change routine. Replaceable ear cushions also give facilities teams a practical maintenance option when headsets are used heavily.

Yealink UH46 UAE Supply — Dubai and Abu Dhabi

We supply the Yealink UH46 UAE-wide for single desks and larger headset rollouts. Dubai deliveries cover offices in Business Bay, JLT, DIFC, DMCC, Dubai Internet City and the wider emirate. Abu Dhabi projects are supplied for corporate offices, help desks and multi-seat customer-service teams.

Coverage also includes Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. For multi-site orders, send the number of users at each location plus whether each desk needs Mono or Dual. That avoids ordering one configuration for everyone and discovering later that reception staff need one ear open.

Installation and setup support is available across all 7 UAE emirates. For headset projects, that normally means connection checks, workstation compatibility and helping the IT team standardise the correct UH46 variant across the rollout.

UH46 Export From Dubai — Africa and MEA Projects

Enterprise procurement teams and IT resellers can source project quantities of the Yealink UH46 from Dubai for deployments across South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and Egypt. Mono, Dual, Teams and UC requirements can be separated by quantity before the shipment is prepared.

For a 100-seat support floor, send the required mix rather than requesting 100 identical units. Reception and supervisors may need Mono while full-time agents use Dual. That usually produces a better deployment than treating every desk the same.

FOB Dubai pricing is available for project quantities. We can also prepare headset orders alongside other Yealink equipment where an integrator is supplying a wider office communications project.

Shipments can be arranged for resellers, enterprise procurement teams and remote-work equipment projects across the region. Model and quantity are checked before quotation so Teams and UC versions aren’t mixed accidentally.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Yealink UH46 good for a noisy call centre?

That’s one of the stronger use cases for it. The UH46 uses a 3-microphone system with Acoustic Shield Technology 3.0 to reduce surrounding office noise reaching the far side of the call. For a busy support floor, choose the Dual version if agents don’t need to hear people beside them while they’re speaking.

Should I buy the UH46 Mono or Dual?

Mono weighs 127 g and leaves one ear open, so it suits reception and front-desk users who still need to hear the room. Dual weighs 166 g and covers both ears, making it the more natural choice for call-centre, support and sales staff spending long periods on calls.

Will the UH46 connect to our Yealink desk phones?

It depends on the exact phone model and its USB headset support. The UH46 is a USB-C headset and includes a USB-A adapter, but that doesn’t mean every Yealink desk phone supports the same functions. Send us the phone model before ordering and we’ll check the connection requirement.

Does the UH46 work if our phone service is from Etisalat or du?

The provider isn’t normally the deciding factor. The UH46 connects to the user’s computer or a compatible endpoint, while the call itself runs through your Teams, UC, softphone or office PABX environment. Send us the calling application and desk-phone model if one is involved, and we’ll check the headset side before supply.

Can our IT team manage a large number of UH46 headsets?

Yealink lists support for Yealink USB Connect and Yealink Management Cloud Service for the UH46. That gives IT teams a defined management route for larger deployments rather than handling every headset only as an individual USB accessory.

Is the Yealink UH46 in stock in Dubai for project quantities?
