Yealink MShare E2 USB Content Sharing Box Dubai

Yealink MShare E2 Dubai

The meeting controller is at one end of the table. The person presenting is sitting three metres away with a laptop and an HDMI cable that doesn’t reach. Common setup in Dubai boardrooms, especially after the furniture layout changes but the meeting-room hardware stays where it was installed.

The Yealink MShare E2 fixes that connection-point problem. It gives a Yealink MVC meeting room a separate wired content-sharing box that can be positioned closer to the presenter instead of forcing every laptop connection through the touch console.

You get HDMI input, USB-C input and USB Type-B connectivity in one compact unit. Wired content can be shared at up to 1080p at 30 frames per second, with audio carried with the presentation. That covers PowerPoint, dashboards, browser demos and video playback during room meetings without relying on a wireless presentation connection.

This is important: MShare E2 is a content-sharing accessory for Yealink MVC rooms. It isn’t a standalone video conferencing system, and it shouldn’t be confused with a wireless presentation or full wireless BYOD pod.

For DIFC, DMCC and JLT meeting rooms where guests regularly arrive with different laptop ports, having HDMI and USB-C available at the table removes a lot of the usual cable swapping.

Yealink MShare E2 UAE supply is available from Dubai, with installation support across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and all 7 UAE emirates. Same-day quotes are available on WhatsApp for single units and project quantities.

Description

Yealink MShare E2 USB Content Sharing Box Dubai

The meeting controller is fixed near the screen. The person presenting is halfway down a 10-seat table with a laptop, and the supplied sharing cable stops short. Someone ends up moving chairs, passing a cable across the table, or presenting from a different seat. We see this a lot in Dubai meeting rooms after furniture layouts change but the original AV points stay exactly where they were installed.

The Yealink MShare E2 gives a Yealink MVC room a separate wired content-sharing point. Instead of forcing every presenter to connect at the room controller, the MShare E2 can be installed closer to the position where laptops are actually used. HDMI, USB-C and USB Type-B connections are available on the unit, and wired content can be shared at up to 1080p at 30 frames per second with audio. Simple job. But in a DIFC, JLT or DMCC boardroom where five different people present during the day, getting the connection point in the right place makes the room much easier to use.

Why the MShare E2 Exists in an MVC Meeting Room

A meeting-room controller and a laptop-sharing point don’t always belong in the same place. The controller might sit close to the screen because that is where the original system was installed. The people presenting might sit two or three seats farther down the table. On a long boardroom table, that small difference creates the usual mess: extension cables, loose adaptors, people standing up to reach the connection, or someone moving their laptop to a seat they don’t actually want to use.

MShare E2 separates those two jobs. The touch controller remains where it makes sense for room operation. The sharing box goes where users naturally place laptops. That is the practical reason to specify it. Not because the room needs another screen-sharing technology, but because the existing connection point is in the wrong physical location.

For a Yealink video conferencing installation in Dubai, this matters most in fixed boardrooms, training rooms and meeting spaces where tables are longer than the cable run around the room controller. Glass-partition rooms in Business Bay are a good example. The display stays on one wall, the table moves during an office refit, and suddenly the original presenter cable is 1.5 metres away from where anyone sits.

Separate the controller from the presenter connection

The MShare E2 can be positioned independently of the room touch console. In a long table layout, the controller can stay near the screen or room entrance while the presenter connection sits closer to the middle seats where laptops are actually opened.

Wired sharing with sound

Shared content can run at up to 1080p at 30fps, and presentation audio is carried with it. That covers PowerPoint decks, browser dashboards, training videos and product demonstrations without asking the presenter to route audio separately.

Different laptop ports, one room connection point

The MShare E2 provides HDMI input, USB-C input and USB Type-B connectivity. That’s useful in shared rooms where staff carry newer USB-C laptops but outside visitors may still arrive with HDMI-based devices or company-issued machines using different interfaces.

MShare E2 Is Wired Content Sharing — Not a Wireless Presentation Pod

This is the point to get right before ordering. The Yealink MShare E2 is a wired sharing accessory for Yealink MVC meeting rooms. It should not be bought on the assumption that it turns the room into a wireless presentation system. If the requirement is to walk into a room, press a wireless pod and share without plugging into the table, look at the Yealink Wireless Presentation & BYOD range instead.

The difference sounds obvious on paper but gets blurred on quotations. Content sharing means the laptop sends its presentation into the room system. Full BYOD can mean something wider: the laptop may also need access to the room camera, microphones and speakers for a meeting hosted from the laptop. Those are different jobs. MShare E2 is primarily about giving an MVC room a practical wired auxiliary content connection.

Not the right fit?

If your requirement is wireless 4K presentation, a button-style presentation pod, or full wireless BYOD where the laptop also uses the room camera, microphones and speakers, don’t specify the MShare E2 just because it has “share” in the name. Use a product from the Wireless Presentation & BYOD range that matches that job.

Where It Fits in a Dubai Meeting Room

Think about the physical table before the product. A six-seat meeting room in a JLT office might have the touch controller placed neatly beside the screen. Fine for controlling calls. Not fine when every presenter naturally sits in the centre of the table. With the MShare E2, the sharing connection can be brought to that centre position rather than stretching the controller’s own cable across the furniture.

In an executive room in DIFC, the problem is often the opposite. Nobody wants permanent cables lying across a polished boardroom table. The sharing box can be integrated into the table area or positioned close to an existing cable cubby, leaving the touch controller where staff expect it. Fewer visible cables. More importantly, less temptation for someone to unplug part of the room system because they think a cable belongs to the laptop.

Training rooms have another use case. The trainer normally presents from one fixed position, while the room control sits elsewhere. Installing the wired sharing point at the trainer desk keeps the connection predictable. Same place every session. No one hunting behind the screen for an HDMI socket while 12 people are waiting.

Platform Compatibility — What the MShare E2 Actually Depends On

MShare E2 isn’t a conferencing endpoint by itself. It doesn’t sign in to Microsoft Teams, Zoom or a SIP service on its own. It sits inside a supported Yealink MVC room deployment and handles the wired auxiliary content path. That distinction matters when you’re comparing accessories for an existing meeting room.

If your room already uses an MVC S-series system, we check the exact room hardware before adding the MShare E2 to the quotation. That’s better than assuming every accessory works identically across every generation. For a new Microsoft Teams room, the complete system should be selected first from the Yealink Microsoft Teams room range, then the sharing accessory added according to table layout and user behaviour.

Which Room Size Is MShare E2 For?

There isn’t a meaningful seat-count limit for MShare E2 because it isn’t the camera or microphone covering the room. Room size matters only because larger tables create more distance between the room controller and the person presenting. That’s where the accessory becomes more useful.

Room Layout MShare E2 Fit Reason
Small room, 2–4 seats Usually optional The controller and presenter are normally close together
Standard room, 4–8 seats Useful in fixed layouts Presenter position may be separate from the touch console
Boardroom, 8–14+ seats Often practical Long tables make a separate sharing point easier to reach
Training / presenter-led room Strong fit Sharing point can be placed at the trainer or presenter desk

Don’t choose it by seat count alone

MShare E2 does not increase microphone pickup, camera coverage or room capacity. It solves a content-connection and table-layout problem. If the actual issue is poor audio at the far end of the table or missing camera coverage, the room needs a different conferencing hardware decision, not another sharing box.

Wired Sharing, Wireless Sharing and BYOD — Three Different Jobs

A lot of Dubai meeting-room accessory orders go wrong because three different requirements get described as “sharing.” They aren’t the same. The MShare E2 handles a wired presentation connection into a supported Yealink MVC room. A presenter plugs in at the table and sends laptop content into the meeting-room system at up to 1080p at 30fps, with audio.

Wireless presentation removes that physical cable from the presenter. That’s where products such as the Yealink WPP30 wireless presentation range come into the discussion. Full BYOD goes a step further again: the visitor’s laptop may need to use the room camera, microphones and speakers while the meeting runs from that laptop.

So before we add an MShare E2 to an MVC quotation, we ask one simple question: are you trying to move the wired presentation point to a better place on the table, or are you trying to remove the wire completely? For an 8-seat DMCC boardroom with a fixed table cubby, MShare E2 can be exactly the right answer. For a sales team that changes seats every meeting and wants one-button wireless sharing, it isn’t.

Does MShare E2 Connect to a PABX, Etisalat or du?

No. The MShare E2 is not a SIP endpoint, desk phone, gateway or telephone interface. It does not register to a Grandstream UCM, 3CX, Yeastar, Avaya system, Etisalat service or du SIP account. Its job is the wired auxiliary content path inside a compatible Yealink MVC meeting-room deployment.

If the room itself needs PSTN or SIP calling, that requirement has to be handled by the host conferencing system or by the office telephony platform. We check that separately during installation. Don’t buy an MShare E2 expecting it to add a telephone line to the boardroom — it won’t.

One accessory. One defined job.

MShare E2 handles wired laptop content sharing for the MVC room. It doesn’t add microphone range, camera coverage, SIP calling or wireless presentation by itself. Keeping that boundary clear prevents expensive accessory mistakes during a room rollout.

What’s in the Box — and What Isn’t

Yealink’s published MShare E2 material confirms the sharing box and its connection functions, but the source material we verified does not give us a complete UAE retail carton list with every supplied cable length. We won’t guess those details. Before dispatch, our Dubai team checks the current package contents against the stocked unit and confirms what cables are included in the quotation.

Not included — plan the complete room, not just the box

The MShare E2 is not a complete Microsoft Teams Room, camera, microphone, speaker, display or wireless presentation system. Your MVC room hardware, display, table cabling and any wireless presentation accessory are separate parts of the room design. We confirm those items before installation.

How We Install MShare E2 in a UAE Meeting Room

The useful part of this accessory is placement, so installation starts with the table rather than the box. We check where people actually sit with laptops, where the touch controller is mounted, where the cable path enters the furniture and whether the sharing point needs to sit in a tabletop cubby, below the table edge or at a presenter desk.

1

Check the MVC room — Confirm the installed Yealink room system, controller position, table layout and presenter position before specifying the accessory.

2

Place the sharing point — Install the MShare E2 where presenters can reach HDMI or USB-C without dragging a cable across a glass-partition boardroom or moving to the controller end of the table.

3

Run a real presentation test — Connect a laptop, share slides and video, confirm audio reaches the meeting, and check the user can start presenting from the intended seat without touching the room controller.

Yealink MShare E2 UAE installation is available in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. For multi-room projects in Business Bay, DIFC, JLT or DMCC, we can standardise the same presenter connection position across several rooms so staff aren’t learning a different cable layout every time they move between floors.

Yealink MVC S60 — Used where a larger room needs a more capable Teams room setup. Add the sharing accessory after the core camera, audio and controller arrangement is confirmed through the Yealink video conferencing range.

Yealink MVC S90 — Better suited to large boardrooms and divisible meeting spaces than trying to solve a large-room problem with accessories. See the Microsoft Teams systems for the room platform first, then add presentation hardware around the table layout.

Yealink WPP30 — Consider this when the request is wireless presentation rather than a wired sharing point. The Wireless Presentation & BYOD category is the right place to compare that requirement.

Yealink VCH51 Pro — Another presentation and connection accessory for meeting-room deployments. Use the Yealink BYOD and presentation accessories section when the requirement involves laptop connectivity beyond the MShare E2’s wired content role.

Yealink CTP25 — A room control product, not a substitute for every presenter-side sharing requirement. Controller and sharing-point placement should be designed separately. See the Yealink accessories range for room control and supporting hardware.

Yealink RoomCast E2 — Relevant when the project requirement moves toward dedicated room presentation rather than simply relocating a wired input. It sits within the wireless presentation and BYOD range.

A Practical Use Case — Training and Client Presentation Rooms

Picture a training room in Dubai with the display and room controller on the front wall. The trainer stands at a desk three metres away with a laptop. Without a dedicated sharing point, every session begins with someone walking to the room controller, plugging in, then leaving the laptop in the wrong place while trying to present from the front.

Put the MShare E2 at the trainer desk and that problem disappears. HDMI or USB-C is where the laptop already sits. The presenter shares at up to 1080p/30fps with presentation audio, while the controller stays where users expect it for meeting control. Small installation detail. Big difference when the room runs six sessions a day.

MShare E2 Supply in Abu Dhabi and Across the UAE

We supply and install Yealink MShare E2 in Abu Dhabi as well as Dubai and the other UAE emirates. For offices with the same MVC room repeated across several sites, we can keep the sharing-point layout consistent — useful when staff move between Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah offices and expect the same table connection in every room.

Africa and MEA Export from Dubai

Project quantities of the Yealink MShare E2 can ship from Dubai to system integrators and corporate AV teams working across Ghana, Tanzania, Ethiopia, South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya. For multi-room MVC projects, the sharing boxes can be packed with the related room hardware under one export order rather than shipped as loose accessories later.

FOB Dubai pricing is available for reseller and project quantities. Send the destination country, required quantity and the Yealink MVC system being used so compatibility can be checked before dispatch.

This is especially useful for hotel groups, regional offices and corporate rollouts where the meeting-room design is repeated in several sites. Keeping the same presenter connection position and accessory set across each room cuts down user confusion after handover.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the MShare E2 let visitors share wirelessly from anywhere in the room?

No. MShare E2 is a wired auxiliary content-sharing box. It gives the presenter HDMI, USB-C and USB Type-B connectivity and supports wired content up to 1080p at 30fps with audio. If you want a wireless presentation pod, use a product from the Yealink wireless presentation range instead.

Is MShare E2 useful in a small 4-person room?

Sometimes, but room size isn’t the main reason to buy it. In a 4-person room where the controller and laptops are already within easy reach, it may add little. It becomes more useful when the presenter sits away from the controller, especially on 8-to-14-seat tables and trainer-led rooms.

Does MShare E2 work with our Etisalat or du office telephone service?

MShare E2 doesn’t register to Etisalat, du or a SIP PABX because it isn’t a telephone endpoint. It only handles wired content sharing inside the supported Yealink MVC room. Any telephone or SIP requirement is configured separately on the room system or office PABX.

Can you install the MShare E2 in an existing Yealink MVC room in Dubai?

Yes. We first confirm the exact MVC room hardware, then check the controller position, table layout and cable path. The MShare E2 is placed where presenters can reach it naturally, followed by a live content and audio-sharing test before handover. Installation is available across all 7 UAE emirates.

Can I use MShare E2 instead of WPP30?

Only if wired sharing is what you want. MShare E2 is for a physical presenter connection. WPP30 belongs to the wireless presentation and BYOD side of the Yealink range. Tell us whether users want to plug in or present wirelessly and we’ll specify the correct accessory rather than adding both without a reason.
