Yealink ETV-65 / ETV-86 Dubai

Yealink ETV-65 ETV-86 Dubai

One MeetingBoard screen is fine until a presentation starts. Then the remote participants disappear behind the shared content, or somebody keeps switching between the call and the document. In larger Dubai boardrooms and training rooms, that gets irritating quickly.

The Yealink ETV-65 and ETV-86 solve that by adding a second 4K touch display to a compatible Yealink MeetingBoard setup. You can keep meeting participants visible on one screen while showing presentations, spreadsheets or whiteboard content on the other. Both displays remain touch-capable, with 20-point infrared touch, ±1 mm writing accuracy and 40 ms writing latency.

Choose the 65-inch ETV-65 for MeetingBoard 65 installations where you want a matching secondary screen without taking over the whole wall. The larger ETV-86 suits MeetingBoard 86 rooms, executive boardrooms and training spaces where people are sitting further back. The ETV-86 also includes a 30 W six-speaker audio system and supports simultaneous playback across both displays.

For glass-partition boardrooms in DIFC, JLT or DMCC, the second screen makes a noticeable difference when the room is being used for document-heavy meetings. People stay visible. Content stays readable. Less screen switching.

Yealink ETV-65 / ETV-86 UAE supply and installation is available across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and all 7 emirates. Wall mounting, display alignment, MeetingBoard connection and touch testing can be handled during installation.

These models are listed by Yealink as end-of-sale accessories, so supply is subject to available Dubai and regional stock. For existing MeetingBoard installations, WhatsApp +971 55 986 3697 with your MeetingBoard size and required quantity so the correct ETV model and mounting option can be checked.

Description

Yealink ETV-65  ETV-86 4K Touch Display for MeetingBoard Dubai

You have a 65-inch or 86-inch MeetingBoard on the wall. The Teams or Zoom call is running properly. Then somebody shares a spreadsheet and suddenly the remote participants disappear behind the content. A minute later the presenter switches back to gallery view. Then back to the spreadsheet. In a Dubai boardroom where six people are reviewing drawings, contracts or financial sheets together, that constant switching gets old fast.

The Yealink ETV-65 and ETV-86 add a second touch display beside a compatible MeetingBoard so the room can keep people on one screen and working content on the other. Not just another television. The ETV is a 4K interactive display with 20-point touch, writing support and MeetingBoard integration. For a DIFC boardroom, a JLT training room or an Abu Dhabi project office where meetings involve documents for most of the call, the extra screen changes how the room is used.

ETV-65 or ETV-86 — Match the Second Screen to the Room

The first decision is physical. The ETV-65 is a 65-inch panel measuring roughly 1512 × 953 × 92 mm and weighing 48 kg net. The ETV-86 moves up to 86 inches, around 1967 × 1205 × 96 mm, with a net weight of 85.3 kg. That difference matters before anybody drills into a gypsum partition or assumes an existing bracket will take the load.

Room Type Typical Use ETV Choice
Medium Boardroom Participants + documents ETV-65
Executive Room Dual-screen video meetings ETV-65 or ETV-86
Large Meeting Room Remote people + large shared content ETV-86
Training / Review Room Whiteboard + live call side by side ETV-86 where viewing distance is longer

Check the wall before choosing the 86-inch model

The ETV-86 weighs 85.3 kg before mounting hardware. Glass partitions, lightweight gypsum walls and decorative wall panels need the correct structural support behind them. We confirm the mounting surface, VESA pattern and cable route before installation rather than discovering a reinforcement problem after the display reaches the room.

What the ETV Actually Adds to a MeetingBoard Room

A normal single-screen meeting room has to decide what gets the display at each moment: gallery view, shared content or whiteboard. Adding an ETV gives the MeetingBoard a second interactive canvas. The displays can be used in an extended arrangement or duplicated depending on the room workflow and MeetingBoard configuration.

A finance team in Business Bay can keep remote directors on the main MeetingBoard while a budget sheet remains open on the ETV. An engineering group can put drawings on the second panel without losing the call view. During a workshop, one screen can carry participants while the other stays on the whiteboard. Less tapping between layouts. People can follow the discussion and the material at the same time.

The ETV is designed as part of a Yealink room rather than as an independent conferencing endpoint. It doesn’t replace the MeetingBoard camera, microphone array, compute platform or meeting application. If you’re planning a room from scratch rather than expanding an existing board, start with the wider Yealink video conferencing range and size the main system first. The ETV comes after that decision.

Three Details That Matter Once the Room Is Actually in Use

Dual-screen output is 4K + 1080p

Don’t read “4K display” and assume the MeetingBoard drives both screens at 4K simultaneously. Yealink specifies the compatible dual-display arrangement as 4K plus 1080p. The panels themselves are 4K; the actual dual-screen output from the MeetingBoard follows the system’s supported layout. This is worth knowing before a room is sold around a two-screen 4K assumption.

The ETV-86 adds its own 30 W speaker system

The 86-inch version uses six speakers — four full-frequency drivers and two high-frequency drivers — with 30 W total output and a specified 90 Hz to 20 kHz response. That makes the ETV-86 more than a size jump. In a larger training room or long boardroom, the second display also contributes an audio system that the ETV-65 specification does not list.

Dual-screen floor mounting has a size restriction

Yealink lists a dual-screen floor-stand arrangement for the 65-inch setup. The same dual-screen floor-stand option isn’t specified for the 86-inch model. If you’re planning a movable room rather than wall mounting, confirm the stand configuration before ordering. An 86-inch ETV at 85.3 kg isn’t something to improvise with a generic trolley.

Meeting Platform Compatibility — Through the MeetingBoard

MeetingBoard Companion ✓
Dual Display ✓
20-Point Touch ✓
Whiteboard Use ✓
Extend / Duplicate ✓

The ETV itself isn’t a standalone Microsoft Teams Room or Zoom Room system. It works as the companion touch display attached to the MeetingBoard, and the MeetingBoard determines the meeting platform. That distinction matters. There is no separate room account to sign into on the ETV and no second camera or microphone set to manage.

If your MeetingBoard is being used in a Microsoft Teams room deployment, the second display follows that MeetingBoard environment. The same principle applies where the MeetingBoard is configured for another supported room workflow. For organisations standardising Microsoft meeting spaces across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, see the broader Yealink Microsoft Teams range before deciding whether a dual-screen MeetingBoard room or a modular MVC room is the better fit.

Management also stays tied to the MeetingBoard. Yealink documents device configuration and management of the ETV through the connected board, including configuration handling and system-log export. For an IT team with several rooms across DMCC, DIFC and Abu Dhabi, that’s cleaner than treating each second screen as another independent meeting endpoint.

Content Sharing and BYOD — What the ETV Does and Doesn’t Do

A laptop doesn’t connect to the ETV and suddenly gain a complete video room. The ETV is the second interactive display. The MeetingBoard remains the device handling the camera, microphones, meeting application and room account. That’s an important distinction when planning a dual-screen room.

If a visitor shares a laptop into the MeetingBoard, the room can use the extra ETV screen to separate meeting participants from shared content. That is where the product earns its space on the wall. A contractor can present a drawing while the project team stays visible. A finance director can work through a spreadsheet without losing the faces on the call. In a legal review, the contract can stay open on one panel while counsel remains visible on the other.

Wireless presentation and BYOD options depend on the MeetingBoard and accessories installed in the room. For rooms where guest laptops are a daily part of the workflow, see Yealink’s wireless presentation and BYOD accessories. We confirm the sharing method before installation so the room isn’t left with two expensive screens and the wrong cable arrangement.

What About SIP, Etisalat, du and the Office PABX?

The ETV-65 and ETV-86 don’t register to a PABX. There is no SIP account on the second screen and no Etisalat or du voice service configured directly on it. Any calling capability comes from the MeetingBoard or the wider room system connected to it.

If the MeetingBoard room also needs access to office telephony, that integration is designed around the main conferencing system rather than the ETV. The second panel simply continues doing its job: showing content, participants or whiteboard material while the main device handles the call.

For companies running separate SIP desk phones alongside their meeting rooms, the Yealink IP phone range covers that side of the deployment. Keeping the roles separate makes support easier for IT — phone issue, meeting system issue, display issue. Three very different things.

What’s in the Box — and What Needs Checking Before Delivery

ETV display — 65-inch or 86-inch model depending on the order.

Two stylus pens — for touch and whiteboard interaction.

Wall-mount bracket — supplied with the display according to Yealink’s listed package contents.

Check separately before ordering

MeetingBoard main unit, floor stand, dual-screen floor stand, room cabling, structural wall reinforcement and any sharing accessories are separate planning items. The dual-screen floor-stand arrangement is specified for the 65-inch setup; don’t assume the same stand configuration applies to the 86-inch model. We verify the wall, VESA pattern and final mounting layout before dispatch.

Installation in Dubai and Abu Dhabi — Dual Screens Need Proper Alignment

Two large touch displays mounted side by side make small installation errors obvious. A 6 mm height difference doesn’t look serious when the brackets are on the floor. Once both screens are on a finished wall, everybody sees it. Same with a visible cable dropping between the panels or an 86-inch display sitting on a partition that was never reinforced for 85.3 kg.

1

Room check — confirm MeetingBoard model, wall construction, mounting height, viewing distance, power position and cable path.

2

Mount and align — install the ETV beside the MeetingBoard, level both displays and conceal the HDMI, USB-B and power routes where the room construction allows.

3

Touch test — verify second-screen output, touch response and the actual participant/content layout used by the room before handover.

Yealink ETV-65 / ETV-86 UAE installation is available in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. Installation is included with our supplied room deployment. For DIFC, DMCC and JLT offices with glass partitions or decorative wall cladding, tell us the wall type before the equipment reaches site. It saves a second visit.

Related Yealink Products for the Same Room

MeetingBoard systems — the ETV is bought as a companion to a MeetingBoard deployment. If the existing room doesn’t already have the main board, start with the Yealink video conferencing systems and size the primary room platform first.

Microsoft Teams room hardware — for companies standardising native Teams meeting rooms across multiple sites, compare the ETV/MeetingBoard approach with the Yealink Microsoft Teams range.

WPP30 — useful where staff and visitors frequently bring laptops into the room. Find it in wireless presentation and BYOD.

Room audio — large rooms may need more than the audio built into the primary room device. Yealink’s room audio and microphone range covers expansion options for larger spaces.

MeetingBar A40 — for rooms that need an all-in-one video bar rather than an interactive board, compare options in the video conferencing category.

CTP25 and room accessories — touch controllers, presentation accessories and mounting-related items are listed in the Yealink accessories range.

Room scheduling — for offices where meeting-room availability is managed outside the room, see the Yealink room scheduling panels. Useful when the dual-screen boardroom is part of a larger floor with shared meeting spaces.

Where Dual ETV Screens Make Sense

The obvious use case is an executive boardroom, but document-heavy industries benefit more than most. Architecture and engineering teams need drawings visible while consultants remain on camera. Legal teams want contracts on screen without losing the faces of remote counsel. Finance departments spend half the meeting inside spreadsheets. Training rooms need the instructor or remote class visible while the working material stays open.

We’ve also seen the problem in Dubai offices where meeting rooms are narrow and surrounded by glass. People are sitting close to a large display, so switching a full 86-inch panel from faces to a white spreadsheet feels abrupt. Two screens keep the visual layout stable throughout the meeting. The HVAC can hum away above the ceiling and people can walk past the glass outside; at least nobody inside the room is repeatedly hunting for the content button.

ETV-65 / ETV-86 Export from Dubai

We supply available Yealink ETV units from Dubai for corporate AV teams, system integrators and room installers working across Ghana, Tanzania, South Africa, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Kenya. Because the ETV-86 weighs 85.3 kg net, export packing and freight planning need to be handled as part of the quotation rather than treated like a normal accessory shipment.

Project quantities are quoted FOB Dubai where stock is available. For integrators matching an existing MeetingBoard estate, send the current board size and exact ETV quantity so the right model can be checked before the order is confirmed.

We can also combine compatible room accessories into the same export order instead of shipping the display first and discovering later that a stand or sharing accessory was missed.

WhatsApp +971 55 986 3697 with destination, quantity and MeetingBoard model. For an end-of-sale accessory, confirming matching stock first matters more than chasing a headline price.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the ETV-65 or ETV-86 without a MeetingBoard?

The ETV is designed as a companion touch display for a MeetingBoard room. It isn’t the camera, microphone or meeting computer. If you need a complete conferencing system rather than an extra display, choose the main room device first.

Do both screens run in 4K when I add an ETV?

Both ETV panels have 3840 × 2160 native resolution, but Yealink specifies the compatible MeetingBoard dual-display output as 4K plus 1080p. Don’t plan the room on the assumption that both outputs are driven at 4K simultaneously.

Which should I buy, ETV-65 or ETV-86?

Match the display size to the MeetingBoard setup, room size and viewing distance. The ETV-65 weighs 48 kg and uses a 600 × 400 mm VESA pattern. The ETV-86 weighs 85.3 kg, uses 800 × 600 mm VESA and adds a 30 W six-speaker system. Send us a photo and room dimensions if the wall construction is uncertain.

Will the ETV work with Microsoft Teams or Zoom?

The ETV itself doesn’t run the meeting platform. It follows the connected MeetingBoard environment. Teams, Zoom or another supported meeting workflow is handled by the main room system while the ETV operates as the secondary touch display.

Can you install an ETV-86 on our glass-partition meeting-room wall in Dubai?

Not directly onto unsupported glass or lightweight partitioning. The ETV-86 weighs 85.3 kg before mounting hardware. We inspect the wall construction and mounting position first and specify reinforcement where required. Installation is available in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and all 7 emirates.

Are Yealink ETV-65 and ETV-86 still available in Dubai?

Yealink lists both models in its end-of-sale accessory range, so availability depends on remaining Dubai, regional or project stock. WhatsApp +971 55 986 3697 with the required model and quantity. We check stock before confirming the order rather than promising a unit that may no longer be available in volume.

Need an ETV-65 or ETV-86 for an existing MeetingBoard room in Dubai? Send the MeetingBoard size, room location and required quantity. We’ll check matching stock and include installation across all 7 UAE emirates.
