Description
Yealink ZVC S40 S50 Zoom Rooms Kits Dubai
The room is booked for 10:00. Six people are already seated, the Zoom meeting is on the calendar, but somebody still has a laptop open trying to work out which HDMI cable belongs to the camera. Behind them, staff walking past a glass partition keep appearing in shot. Above the table, the HVAC is running hard enough that remote callers hear the room before they hear the person speaking.
That is the room the Yealink ZVC S40 and ZVC S50 are built to replace. These are fixed Windows-based Zoom Rooms kits: a dedicated room computer, table controller, occupancy sensor and Yealink camera/audio system installed as one room. Walk in, use the MTouch Plus on the table and join the scheduled Zoom meeting. No employee laptop has to become the room computer for the next hour. For Dubai offices running several meeting rooms across DIFC, DMCC, JLT or Business Bay, that distinction matters.

ZVC S40 or ZVC S50 — The Decision Is Mostly About the Room
Don’t choose between these two kits from the model number alone. Start with the table. The ZVC S40 uses the SmartVision 40 all-in-one camera and audio unit, with a 6-metre total voice pickup range and a 4-metre quality pickup range. It makes sense in small and medium rooms where everyone is reasonably close to the display wall.
The ZVC S50 moves to the MeetingBar A50. Its 16-MEMS microphone array is rated for up to 10 metres of pickup, and its triple-camera system combines one wide camera with two telephoto cameras. That makes the S50 the more sensible choice when the room is deeper, the conference table is longer, or directors at the far end shouldn’t sound noticeably further away than the people nearest the screen.
| Kit | Main Camera / Audio | Where It Fits |
|---|---|---|
| ZVC S40-C5U | SmartVision 40 · dual 48MP · 120° DFOV · 8 MEMS · 6m total pickup | Small to medium Zoom Rooms where the table stays inside the S40 audio range |
| ZVC S50-C5U | MeetingBar A50 · triple 50MP · wide + dual telephoto · 16 MEMS · 10m pickup | Medium and longer meeting rooms where extra camera detail and audio reach are needed |
S40: 4 metres of quality pickup versus 6 metres total
This is an important number when measuring a real room. SmartVision 40 is specified for 6 metres of voice pickup, but Yealink separately identifies 4 metres as its quality voice pickup range. If the main seats are routinely beyond that 4-metre zone, don’t size the room from the larger number alone. A longer table may be better served by the S50 or by an audio expansion design.
S50: 10-metre microphone reach from the A50
The MeetingBar A50 inside the ZVC S50 uses 16 MEMS microphones and is rated for 10 metres of pickup. That’s the specification to look at for long executive tables, wider training-style layouts and medium rooms where the display wall is several metres from the furthest chair.
Why the Cameras Are Different
SmartVision 40 takes the wide-room approach. Two 48MP lenses are combined into a 120° field of view, which is useful when seats start close to the display or the table spreads across the room rather than running a long distance away from it. The camera supports 6× digital zoom, Auto Framing, Speaker Tracking and IntelliFocus.
The A50 in the S50 uses three 50MP cameras instead: one wide camera covering a 98° horizontal field and two telephoto cameras with a narrower 41.6° horizontal view. Think of the difference this way. S40 needs to see a wide small-to-medium room. S50 also needs to resolve faces further back in a deeper room, so it has dedicated telephoto views rather than relying entirely on one wide image.
Video Fence for Dubai glass-partition rooms
A glass meeting room in JLT can put the corridor directly behind the last row of chairs. Video Fence lets the camera system work within a defined meeting area instead of treating every person walking outside the room as part of the meeting. Less distracting movement. More attention on the people actually seated at the table.
Both camera systems also use electric privacy covers rather than relying only on a software camera-off icon. When privacy is engaged, the lens is physically covered. That is a small detail until the room belongs to legal, financial, government or executive teams who specifically ask whether a camera can still see the room when it isn’t being used.
For the S40, Yealink also separates Reverberation Suppression from AI noise cancellation. That’s useful in the sort of Dubai fit-out where glass walls, hard flooring and bare ceilings create reflected speech while the air-conditioning adds constant background noise. They are two different room problems, so treating them as one generic “noise cancellation” feature misses the point.
MCore 4 and MTouch Plus — The Room Runs Without a User Laptop
The camera isn’t the room computer. Both C5U-generation kits are built around Yealink’s MCore 4 mini-PC architecture, paired with MTouch Plus on the meeting table. This is what turns the setup into a permanent Zoom Room rather than a USB camera that waits for somebody to bring a laptop.
MCore 4 uses an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor with a built-in NPU, 16GB DDR5 memory and a 256GB SSD. It provides three HDMI video outputs with CEC support, HDMI input for 4K content sharing, four USB 3.0 ports and an IP connection to the touch controller. The practical part: the computer can stay mounted out of sight while the user operates the room from the table.
MTouch Plus gives the room an 11.6-inch touch interface for Zoom Rooms controls. Staff aren’t expected to reach behind the display, find the mini-PC or use a wireless keyboard. Calendar meetings, camera control and the normal in-room Zoom interface stay where people expect them — beside the conference table.
RoomSensor — More Than a Motion Detector
RoomSensor is included in the C5U room architecture and measures four things: occupancy, temperature, humidity and light. It connects over Bluetooth BLE 5.2, has a stated reach of up to 30 metres and supports up to four sensors through BLE mesh.
Occupancy data is the interesting part for busy UAE offices. A meeting room can show booked on the calendar while nobody is physically inside it — the usual ghost-booking problem. Sensor-backed room workflows give the meeting estate actual presence data rather than relying only on what somebody booked earlier in the day. Temperature readings are useful too. Anyone who has commissioned a meeting room directly below a Dubai HVAC diffuser knows that “room comfortable” and “thermostat says 22°C” aren’t always the same thing.

These ZVC kits belong in offices where Zoom Rooms is the room platform. The room computer stays installed, the controller stays on the table and the meeting calendar belongs to the room rather than to whoever happened to bring a laptop that morning. For organisations standardising multiple conference rooms, see the wider Yealink video conferencing range when planning different room sizes under one deployment.
IT teams can also bring the room hardware into Yealink device management. Yealink documents YMCS/YDMP onboarding specifically for the current ZVC S40-C5U generation, giving administrators another way to monitor and administer Yealink hardware across a multi-room estate without treating every meeting room as an isolated installation.
Which Room Size Should You Actually Specify?
| Room Type | Typical Seats | Our Starting Point |
|---|---|---|
| Huddle / focus room | 2–4 | Use a smaller all-in-one room system rather than oversizing the ZVC kit |
| Small meeting room | 4–7 | ZVC S40 |
| Medium meeting room | 7–12 | ZVC S40 if the table stays inside its audio range; ZVC S50 for longer/deeper rooms |
| Large / extended room | 12–20+ | Design the room around an expandable ZVC system rather than assuming the S50 alone covers every seat |
Don’t size the kit from seat count alone
A 10-seat room can be short and wide or long and narrow. Those are different audio jobs. If the furthest regular speaker sits beyond the SmartVision 40’s 4-metre quality pickup area, move to the ZVC S50 or design the room with suitable expansion audio. For boardrooms well beyond the S50’s built-in coverage, use an expandable system from the Yealink video conferencing range rather than forcing a compact kit into the wrong room.
When Someone Brings a Laptop — BYOD and Guest Meetings
A dedicated Zoom Room doesn’t mean every visitor will arrive with a Zoom account. Consultants turn up with Teams. Clients send a Google Meet link. An external auditor may insist on Webex. The room still needs a sensible way to use the installed camera, microphones, speakers and display without dismantling the Zoom Rooms setup.
For the current ZVC S40-C5U, Yealink lists the VCH51 Pro as a supported one-cable BYOD option. Connect the visitor’s laptop by USB-C and the laptop can use the meeting-room audio and video hardware while also sharing content. The VCH51 Pro supports content sharing up to 4K at 60fps and can provide laptop power through the same connection.
Important difference on the ZVC S50-C5U
Don’t order the VCH51 Pro for a ZVC S50-C5U based on the S40 configuration. Yealink currently lists ZVC S50-C5U support for VCH51 Pro as coming soon. We won’t sell that accessory as an S50 solution until compatibility is confirmed for the actual units being supplied.
There are other Yealink sharing and BYOD options for room projects, including the Yealink wireless presentation and BYOD range. We specify those after checking the exact kit generation, room layout and how guests are expected to connect. Better to decide that before installation than discover a missing adapter five minutes before the first client call.
What About Etisalat, du and the Office PABX?
The ZVC S40 and ZVC S50 should be treated as Zoom Rooms systems, not as SIP desk phones. We don’t register the kit directly to a Grandstream UCM, Yeastar, 3CX, Avaya or an Etisalat/du SIP trunk and pretend it is another extension on the office PABX.
Its normal job is Zoom. The MCore 4 runs the room application, the MTouch Plus controls the meeting, and the camera/audio unit handles the room. If your project also needs normal telephone calling, reception extensions or PSTN access, we design that separately around the company’s telephony platform rather than mixing two different jobs into one room device.
That matters during UAE office fit-outs where the meeting-room contractor and PABX contractor are sometimes working on the same floor. The ZVC kit needs network access, display connections and the correct Zoom Rooms account. Your Yealink IP phone estate remains on the office telephony side.
What’s in the ZVC S40 / S50 Room Kit?
ZVC S40-C5U: SmartVision 40 camera/audio unit plus the current MCore room-computing kit, including MCore 4, MTouch Plus and RoomSensor, together with the required standard power and connection accessories supplied for the kit.
ZVC S50-C5U: MeetingBar A50 used as the room’s USB camera/audio device, plus MCore 4, MTouch Plus and RoomSensor. The A50 supplies the triple-camera system, 16-MEMS microphone array and four built-in 5W speakers.
Not included — specify these separately where required
Room displays, display wall brackets, Zoom Rooms licensing/account services, extended room cabling, optional expansion microphones, scheduling panels and BYOD accessories are project items rather than assumptions. For S40 projects, VCH51 Pro can be specified where one-cable guest BYOD is needed. For S50, we check the current approved BYOD option before quoting.
Installation in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
A Zoom Room isn’t finished when the boxes are opened. The room computer needs to be mounted where it remains serviceable. Display outputs have to be assigned correctly. Camera height changes how the far end of the table looks. The touch panel needs a sensible position where somebody can reach it without leaning across three colleagues.
Room check — We confirm table length, seating position, display count, network point, power, mounting location and whether the S40’s 4m quality audio zone or S50’s 10m pickup is appropriate.
Fit and configure — Camera/audio unit, MCore 4, MTouch Plus and RoomSensor are mounted and connected. Zoom Rooms is signed in with the customer’s room account and the display behaviour, camera position and room controls are checked.
Real-room test — We sit people at the near and far seats, make a live call and check framing, voice pickup and display behaviour. On glass-partition rooms, Video Fence is tested against people moving outside the meeting area.
Yealink ZVC S40 UAE and ZVC S50 UAE installation is available in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. Installation is included with systems supplied by Yealink Dubai. Multi-room projects in DIFC, DMCC and JLT can be surveyed as one deployment rather than treating every room as a separate job.
Stock & Availability: Yealink ZVC S40 and ZVC S50 kits in stock in Dubai subject to current model availability. Same-day quote on WhatsApp. Project quantities available for UAE rollouts, with shipping to Africa, GCC and South Asia. FOB Dubai pricing available for reseller and integration projects.
Related Yealink Room Products
Building several room sizes at once? The ZVC S40 and S50 sit inside the wider Yealink video conferencing range. A floor with four-person huddle rooms, 10-person boardrooms and one 20-seat training room shouldn’t use the same hardware everywhere.
SmartVision 40 — the camera/audio unit inside the S40. Useful when you want to understand the dual 48MP camera and 6m pickup hardware before specifying the full video conferencing system.
MeetingBar A50 — the triple-50MP camera/audio platform used by the S50. For projects comparing different room architectures, see the Yealink room-system range.
WPP30 — wireless presentation hardware for rooms where laptops need quick content sharing. It’s listed with our wireless presentation and BYOD products.
VCM35 — wired expansion microphone for room designs that need microphone placement closer to participants. See the Yealink room audio and microphones range.
VCM36-W — wireless tabletop microphone for rooms where pulling a cable across the table isn’t practical. It’s part of our room microphone selection.
RoomPanel — place the booking panel outside the room while MTouch Plus remains inside. See the Yealink room scheduling panels for corridor and glass-wall installations.
Larger ZVC room systems — when 12–20+ seats, multiple microphones or more complex camera coverage are involved, move up the Yealink video conferencing family rather than stretching an S40 or S50 beyond its intended room.
Where These Kits Make Sense in the UAE
The S40 is a practical fit for project rooms, sales meeting rooms and smaller client rooms where participants sit relatively close to the display. Its 120° camera view helps when a room is wider than it is deep. Video Fence also earns its keep when the meeting space has full-height glass beside a busy corridor.
The S50 belongs one step further up. Think executive rooms, longer conference tables and spaces where the chairperson may sit several metres from the camera. The 10m pickup figure is the number to measure against the actual seating position. Not the room dimensions printed on the fit-out drawing.
For Abu Dhabi offices, multi-floor Dubai headquarters and free-zone projects, we can keep the user experience consistent while changing the hardware by room size. MTouch Plus stays familiar from room to room. Staff don’t need a separate operating lesson just because the boardroom uses a different camera system from the smaller meeting room.
ZVC S40 / S50 Export from Dubai
We supply ZVC room kits from Dubai for corporate AV projects in South Africa, Nigeria and Ghana, as well as system integrators working in Tanzania, Ethiopia and Kenya. Project quantities can be consolidated with displays, microphones and other Yealink room hardware where the destination installer wants one equipment shipment.
FOB Dubai quotations are available for AV installers and IT integrators. Send the destination country, required quantity and whether the rooms are S40-size or S50-size so the quote isn’t built around the wrong camera and audio package.
For larger rollout quantities, we can separate the equipment schedule by room type — for example, S40 kits for eight small rooms and S50 kits for three boardrooms. That makes local installation planning much easier than receiving one mixed equipment list.
WhatsApp +971 55 986 3697 for project quantities and FOB Dubai pricing. Shipping is available to Africa, GCC and South Asia from Dubai.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I buy the ZVC S40 or ZVC S50 for a 10-person room?
Measure the furthest regular speaker from the camera wall. The S40 has a 6m total pickup specification with a 4m quality pickup range. The S50’s MeetingBar A50 is rated for up to 10m. A compact 10-seat room may suit S40; a long 10-seat boardroom can justify S50 even with the same headcount.
Can we use Microsoft Teams meetings in a ZVC room?
The ZVC S40 and S50 are built as native Zoom Rooms systems. Guest-platform meetings should be planned through an approved BYOD method rather than treating the room as a native Teams Room. For S40-C5U, Yealink currently supports VCH51 Pro one-cable BYOD. We confirm the approved option for S50-C5U before supply.
Will the ZVC S40 or S50 connect directly to our Etisalat, du or office PABX?
We don’t specify these ZVC kits as direct SIP extensions on an Etisalat/du trunk, 3CX, Grandstream UCM, Yeastar or Avaya system. They are dedicated Zoom Rooms. If the meeting room also needs normal telephone calling, we plan that separately around the company’s voice system.
Does installation come with the ZVC kit in Dubai?
Yes. Installation is included for systems supplied by Yealink Dubai. We check the room, install the camera/audio hardware, MCore 4, MTouch Plus and RoomSensor, connect the displays and network, configure the room account and finish with a live test call. Coverage includes Dubai, Abu Dhabi and all 7 UAE emirates.
What does RoomSensor actually do?
RoomSensor detects occupancy and also measures temperature, humidity and light. That gives the room system actual environmental and presence data rather than relying only on a calendar booking. It is particularly useful where meeting rooms are frequently booked but left empty.
Are the Yealink ZVC S40 and S50 in stock in Dubai?
Dubai stock depends on the exact C5U kit and project quantity. Same-day availability checks and quotations are handled on WhatsApp at +971 55 986 3697. We also supply multi-room quantities for UAE projects and export orders to Africa, GCC and South Asia.
Need a Yealink ZVC S40 or ZVC S50 in Dubai? Send us the room dimensions, number of seats and whether the room is Zoom-only or needs guest BYOD. We’ll size the kit before the quotation. Supply and installation across all 7 UAE emirates.
