Do You Actually Need the CPW25?
Not every CP935W installation needs an expansion microphone. The host phone already uses a 6-microphone array with 360° pickup and a stated 6-metre pickup radius. In a compact meeting room with four or six people sitting evenly around a central table, the built-in microphone system may already cover the room without anything else.
The CPW25 becomes more useful when the seating isn’t balanced around the phone. Think of a narrow 10-seat table where six people sit at one end. Or a DMCC office where the conference phone has to stay close to the display because the table has power modules in the centre. Another common Dubai layout: a glass-partition meeting room with the phone placed away from the door, leaving the last two seats farther from the main unit than everyone else.

BYOD, Screen Sharing and the CPW25 — Different Jobs
The CPW25 is an audio accessory. It doesn’t share a laptop screen, turn a room display into a wireless presentation system, or act as a USB conference device for a visitor’s notebook. Its job is much narrower: add a wireless microphone position to a supported CP935W conference-phone setup.
That distinction matters when you’re building a meeting room rather than buying one isolated accessory. If a Dubai office needs wireless presentation from laptops as well as better table audio, those are two separate requirements. The CPW25 handles the microphone side. Presentation hardware should be selected separately from the wireless presentation and BYOD range.
Same with video. Adding a CPW25 to a CP935W doesn’t add a camera. A room that needs video meetings needs a camera or a complete Yealink video conferencing system alongside the conference-phone audio setup. Sounds obvious. It still prevents the wrong parts landing on site.
Etisalat, du and PABX Compatibility
