Yealink BT51-C Dongle Dubai

Yealink BT51-C Dubai

Your Yealink headset is working. The tiny USB-C dongle isn’t. Maybe it stayed in another laptop, disappeared during a desk move, or went missing somewhere between a DIFC meeting room and your laptop bag. Replacing the complete headset makes no sense when the BT51-C is the only part you need.

The Yealink BT51-C is a compact Bluetooth 5.0 USB-C dongle designed for compatible Yealink headsets and audio devices. It connects through USB-C and provides a wireless operating range of up to 30 metres in suitable conditions. The adapter measures just 16.15 × 14.5 × 9 mm, so it can remain fitted to a laptop without adding much bulk.

This is also the dongle supplied with the Yealink BH78, making it the straightforward replacement when the original adapter has been lost or damaged. It can also suit IT teams keeping spare dongles for shared laptops, hot desks and meeting-room PCs across JLT, DMCC or Business Bay offices.

Make sure you need the BT51-C, not the BT51-A. The BT51-C uses a USB-C connection; the BT51-A is the other connector variant in the BT51 family. Easy detail to miss when ordering replacements.

Yealink BT51-C UAE stock is available from Yealink Dubai, with supply across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and all 7 UAE emirates. Same-day quote available on WhatsApp for single units, project quantities and replacement orders.

Description

Yealink BT51-C Dongle USB-C Bluetooth Adapter Dubai

The headset is still on your desk. The USB-C dongle isn’t. It disappeared during a laptop swap, stayed plugged into a hot-desk PC, or vanished into the bottom of a laptop bag somewhere between JLT and DIFC. Buying another headset for one missing adapter doesn’t make much sense.

The Yealink BT51-C is the USB-C Bluetooth dongle used with current Yealink business headsets including the BH78 and BH74. Plug it into a compatible USB-C port and it gives the connected Yealink audio device a dedicated Bluetooth link to the computer. Small part. Very specific job. For Dubai IT teams replacing lost dongles or keeping spares for shared workstations, that is usually exactly what is needed.

BT51-C or BT51-A? Check the Connector Before You Order

This is the detail that matters most when somebody sends procurement a message saying, “Order a Yealink BT51.” The BT51 family has more than one physical variant. The BT51-C is the USB-C version. If the laptop has the smaller reversible USB-C socket and you want the dongle to connect there directly, BT51-C is the model to look at.

Check before replacing a lost dongle

Don’t order from the letters “BT51” alone. Look at the USB socket on the laptop and, if possible, the model marking on the original adapter or headset box. If you’re replacing a BH78 dongle, the current BH78 package uses the BT51-C. WhatsApp us a photo if you’re unsure which variant is sitting on your desk.

Why Use the Dongle When the Laptop Already Has Bluetooth?

Most current laptops already have Bluetooth built in, so this is a fair question. The BT51-C gives the headset a dedicated Yealink USB adapter connection rather than depending only on whatever Bluetooth hardware and driver combination happens to be inside the PC. For a personal laptop, native Bluetooth may be enough. In a managed office with several laptop models, docking stations and hot desks, having the known USB adapter connection can make deployment easier to repeat from desk to desk.

Think about a DMCC office replacing 40 laptops over a weekend. Dell units on one floor, Lenovo on another, a few HP machines for finance. Users arrive Monday and expect their headsets to behave the same way. Keeping the headset paired through its intended USB dongle gives IT one known connection method instead of troubleshooting the Bluetooth implementation in every notebook individually.

That doesn’t mean the BT51-C magically improves every Bluetooth headset or turns a non-compatible headset into a Yealink one. It is an accessory for supported Yealink equipment. If you’re buying for an existing fleet, check the headset model first. Our Yealink headset range in Dubai covers the current business headset families, while replacement adapters and related parts sit in the Yealink accessories range.

BH78 Replacement Dongle — The Main Reason Buyers Ask for BT51-C

The current Yealink BH78 package includes a BT51-C USB dongle. The headset can connect to a computer through that adapter, through a USB cable or through native Bluetooth. So when somebody loses the BT51-C, the BH78 itself hasn’t suddenly become unusable. You still have other connection methods. What you’ve lost is the small dedicated USB adapter that originally came with the headset.

BH78 ships with BT51-C

Yealink lists the BT51-C USB dongle in the current BH78 package contents together with a USB C/A adapter. That makes BT51-C the relevant replacement part when the original BH78 dongle has been lost or damaged.

This comes up often with staff who travel between Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices. The headset goes into the carrying case. The laptop goes into a separate bag. The dongle stays in a docking station. Monday morning, the user is at another site with the headset but not the adapter. Keeping one or two replacement BT51-C units with IT avoids replacing an otherwise working BH78 or borrowing dongles from another desk.

It Isn’t Only for the BH78

Yealink also lists the BT51-C connection method with the BH74. The current BH74 package includes a BT51-C dongle and USB C/A adapter, and Yealink documents the adapter for connecting the headset through USB rather than relying only on native Bluetooth.

Useful for third-party phone connections

For the BH74, Yealink specifically describes the BT51-C with the USB C/A adapter as a plug-and-play route for connection across third-party phone brands. That makes the dongle relevant in mixed-device offices where the headset may move between a PC and supported desk-phone hardware.

Compatibility still needs to be checked by model. A USB-C socket alone isn’t proof that a device supports the BT51-C. That’s especially important in offices mixing older BH-series headsets, newer models and desk phones bought over several years. Send the headset or phone model before ordering a batch and we’ll match the adapter first.

30 Metres on Paper — What That Means at a Dubai Desk

Yealink rates the BT51 family for an operating distance of up to 30 metres, or 100 feet. That’s a maximum figure, not a promise that you’ll get 30 metres through every wall in the office. Glass partitions, meeting-room doors, reinforced concrete, metal storage and the position of the laptop all affect real-world radio range.

At a normal workstation the useful point is simpler: the dongle isn’t designed only for somebody sitting 50 cm from the notebook. A user can stand up, move around the immediate office area or step away from the desk while staying within the supported Bluetooth link, subject to the building around them. In a glass-partition office in Business Bay, line-of-sight conditions can be very different from a concrete-walled back office.

Don’t design a 30 m deployment around the maximum figure

If somebody needs to roam between closed rooms, around concrete cores or across separate office areas, test the actual environment. The published figure is “up to 30 m.” Building layout decides what you get in practice.

Visual Status Instead of Guessing

The BT51 includes a visual indicator. It’s a tiny detail until you’re standing beside a user who says the headset “isn’t connected.” The indicator gives you a physical status cue at the USB port rather than leaving every check inside Windows or the headset application.

Yealink also documents headset call-control functions through its Bluetooth dongle family, including answering and ending incoming calls and adjusting headset volume on supported combinations. The exact controls available at the desk still depend on the headset and device being used, so we don’t treat the dongle as a universal call-control adapter for every Bluetooth product.

Who Should Buy the BT51-C?

You lost the original BH78 dongle. This is the obvious replacement case. The headset works, but the BT51-C supplied with it has disappeared or been damaged.

IT wants spare adapters on hand. A company running 20, 50 or 100 headsets doesn’t want one missing 16 mm accessory to stop a user working. Holding a few matched spares is easier than moving dongles between desks.

A headset moves between workstations. Hot-desk users in DIFC, JLT and DMCC regularly move between docking stations and laptops. A correctly matched spare adapter can stay with the second workstation instead of being carried every day.

You need the USB-C version specifically. If the workstation is built around USB-C ports, BT51-C avoids ordering the wrong BT51 variant. For older PCs or a different connection requirement, confirm the adapter before purchase rather than relying on the BT51 family name alone.

Not the right fit?

The BT51-C is not a generic Bluetooth fix for every headset with a wireless connection. Buy it for a verified compatible Yealink device. If you have an older BH72, BH76, a desk phone, or another Yealink model and aren’t sure which adapter is required, send us the exact model number before ordering.

Using BT51-C Across Laptops, Desktops and Hot Desks

The BT51-C is most useful when the headset needs a repeatable USB-C connection across different computers. One day the user is on a company laptop in Business Bay. The next day they’re at a hot desk in Abu Dhabi with a docking station. Rather than depending on whatever Bluetooth hardware is built into each machine, the adapter gives the supported Yealink headset its own known connection point.

That matters more in offices where IT supports several laptop generations at once. A finance team may still have USB-C ThinkPads from one rollout while sales has newer Dell systems and management uses HP notebooks. Same headset estate. Different PCs. Keeping BT51-C adapters with the users or at selected desks makes support easier because the physical connection stays familiar.

This is not a wireless presentation device and it does not turn the laptop into a BYOD meeting-room system. It is a Bluetooth USB-C adapter for supported Yealink audio equipment. For wireless screen sharing and room BYOD hardware, use the Yealink Wireless Presentation & BYOD range instead.

Will BT51-C Connect a Headset to Your Office PABX?

Not by itself. The BT51-C is not a SIP adapter, PABX interface or telephone line device. It doesn’t register to 3CX, Grandstream UCM, Yeastar, Avaya, Etisalat or du. It sits between a supported Yealink audio device and compatible USB equipment.

If your requirement is to use a Yealink headset with a desk phone that is already connected to the office PABX, the exact headset, phone model and adapter combination needs to be checked. Yealink documents BT51-C use with current headset families such as BH74 in supported third-party phone connection scenarios, but that doesn’t mean every USB-C desk phone will accept it.

For UAE offices running SIP phones on Etisalat, du, 3CX or a local PABX, send us the desk-phone model and headset model together. We’ll check the actual accessory path instead of treating a USB-C socket as proof of compatibility. If you’re building the phone side of the system as well, see our Yealink IP phone range.

What’s in the Box?

The product being sold on this page is the Yealink BT51-C USB-C Bluetooth dongle. For replacement orders, that distinction matters. You’re buying the adapter because the headset itself is already working or because IT wants spare units on the shelf.

Not included — order separately if needed

Headset, charging stand, desk phone, laptop, docking station and other headset accessories are not part of a standalone replacement BT51-C order unless stated on the quotation. If you need a complete BH78 or BH74 setup rather than just the adapter, tell us before ordering.

Why IT Teams Keep Spare Dongles

A headset usually doesn’t fail because somebody moved desks. The small adapter is another story. It gets left in a laptop, stays behind in a docking station, drops into a travel pouch or goes home with the wrong user. In a 60-person office, you don’t need many incidents before support starts borrowing adapters from other desks.

Keeping a few matched BT51-C units makes sense where BH78 or other verified compatible Yealink devices are issued in quantity. New starter? Adapter ready. Lost dongle? Swap it. Executive travelling between Dubai and Abu Dhabi? Keep one at each regular workstation instead of depending on the same 16.15 mm part travelling every time.

This is especially useful in serviced offices, call-centre administration teams, finance departments and hybrid workplaces where staff move between assigned desks and shared areas. Small spare. Cheap operational headache avoided.

Related Yealink Products to Order With BT51-C

A replacement dongle is often part of a wider headset order. These are the product groups we normally check before finalising the quotation:

1. Yealink BH78 — the current BH78 package includes BT51-C, so this is the main replacement-dongle use case. See the Yealink headset range if you need complete BH78 units as well as spare adapters.

2. Yealink BH74 — another current headset family documented with BT51-C. Useful when an office is standardising adapters and headsets together. View Bluetooth business headsets.

3. Yealink BHC78 charging stand — relevant for fixed BH78 desks where users want a permanent charging position instead of leaving the headset loose beside the laptop. Find it under Yealink accessories.

4. Yealink BLT60 busy light — useful at reception desks, support desks and open offices where colleagues need a visible indication that the headset user is on a call. Available through the accessories category.

5. Yealink IP phones — if the headset also needs to work with a desk phone, we check the phone model and headset connection method together. Browse Yealink IP phones.

6. Yealink speakerphones — some staff need headset privacy at the desk and a speakerphone for small group calls. See Yealink speakerphones for portable desk and meeting options.

Yealink BT51-C for Dubai and Abu Dhabi Offices

Yealink BT51-C UAE orders can be supplied for single-user replacements or larger headset estates. Dubai orders commonly come from offices in JLT, DMCC, DIFC and Business Bay where staff use laptops across hot desks, meeting spaces and home working days. Abu Dhabi buyers often order the dongle together with replacement headsets or a small spare quantity for local IT support.

Supply is available across all 7 UAE emirates — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. If you’re ordering for several branches, send the headset model and quantity per site so the accessories can be checked before dispatch.

BT51-C Export from Dubai — Africa and MEA Projects

We supply Yealink BT51-C adapters from Dubai to IT resellers and enterprise procurement teams working across South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Egypt. Replacement dongles are particularly useful on larger headset rollouts because small accessories are easier to lose than the headset itself.

Project quantities can ship together with BH-series headsets, charging accessories and other Yealink desktop equipment. That keeps the accessory count tied to the main headset order rather than creating a separate shipment later.

FOB Dubai pricing is available for reseller and project quantities. Send the destination country, headset model and number of BT51-C units required on WhatsApp so the order can be matched correctly.

For mixed headset estates, include the exact Yealink models in the enquiry. We won’t assume the same dongle fits every headset just because the units all carry the same brand.

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost the dongle that came with my BH78. Is BT51-C the replacement I need?

Yes. Yealink lists the BT51-C in the current BH78 package, so this is the relevant replacement when the original USB-C dongle is lost or damaged. If your BH78 package or regional bundle looks different, send us a photo before ordering and we’ll check it.

What’s the difference between BT51-C and BT51-A?

BT51-C is the USB-C version covered on this page. BT51-A is the other connector variant in the BT51 family. Don’t order from the name “BT51” alone — check the laptop port and the original adapter first.

Can I use the BT51-C with any Bluetooth headset?

No. Treat it as an accessory for verified compatible Yealink devices, not as a generic Bluetooth adapter for every headset brand or model. Send us your exact Yealink headset model if it isn’t BH78 or BH74.

Will the BT51-C work through glass walls or across our whole office?

Yealink rates the BT51 family for up to 30 metres. Real range depends on walls, glass partitions, concrete, metal furniture and where the computer is positioned. For roaming between closed rooms, test the actual office rather than planning around the full 30 m figure.

Can our IT team order spare BT51-C dongles for several Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices?

Yes. Spare quantities can be supplied for headset fleets, hot desks and branch offices across all 7 UAE emirates. Send the headset models and quantities on WhatsApp so compatibility can be checked before dispatch.
