Question 1

Ceiling microphones or table microphones — which is right?

Accepted Answer

Ceiling wins when the table must stay clean, the room is large, or people move — pickup comes from above and nobody thinks about microphones again. Table mics win for fixed seating on a budget, extending a Yealink room system along a long table. Many boardrooms land on ceiling mics with a wireless unit for flexibility; the room's shape decides, and that is exactly what we design.

Question 2

How many ceiling microphones does my room need?

Accepted Answer

A CM50 covers about five metres of pickup, so a standard large meeting room around 4 × 6 metres for 7–12 people typically runs one to two units, and an extra-large 4 × 8 metre room for 12–20 people steps up from there — divisible halls scale to five or more with an AP08 running zones. Send the room dimensions and ceiling height; the layout comes back drawn.

Question 3

What is Dante, in plain words?

Accepted Answer

A professional standard that sends many channels of perfect audio over ordinary network cable — so microphones, DSPs and speakers connect through a switch instead of a wall of analog cabling. The CM50, CS10-D, AP08 and the DE300/EN300 endpoints all speak it, which is why integrators specify this range for serious rooms.

Question 4

CM20 or CM50 — what is the honest difference?

Accepted Answer

The CM20 is the plug-and-play ceiling microphone — eight mics, 360-degree pickup, straight into a Yealink Teams room, working the same day. The CM50 is the professional instrument — 127 beamforming elements, native Dante, analog output, camera-tracking integration — for rooms that get engineered. Price follows capability; we quote the one your room justifies.

Question 5

Can one system run a divisible room with a moving wall?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that is precisely what the AP08 DSP is built for: two independent automixers process the two rooms separately when the wall is closed and merge them when it opens, with microphones, speakers and both room platforms routed through its matrix — and the YPS20 partition sensor detects the wall position, switching modes without anyone touching a control. One processor, every wall position, no re-cabling.

Question 6

Does ceiling audio work with our Teams or Zoom room system?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this range exists to feed Yealink MVC Teams rooms and ZVC Zoom rooms: the CM20 connects plug-and-play, the CM50/AP08 lane integrates at the professional level, and the VCM table mics extend the same systems. Version pairings matter — which host takes which microphone — and confirming that compatibility before invoicing is part of our quotation, not your homework.

Question 7

We run training sessions — what about a microphone for the trainer?

Accepted Answer

The VCM36-W wireless microphone travels with the session — set it where the trainer works, and voice lift through the ceiling speakers carries the voice to the back row. Offices still running the older CPW90 wireless mics on classic Yealink systems get honest support and the upgrade path when they want it.

Question 8

Our last big room had echo problems. How is that prevented?

Accepted Answer

Echo is an engineering problem with an engineering answer: the AP08 runs eight channels of acoustic echo cancellation with proper reference routing, the CM50 takes a dedicated AEC reference channel, and our commissioning tunes levels against the real room — glass, marble and all. Rooms we tune do not ask people to repeat themselves.

Question 9

What does professional room audio cost in Dubai?

Accepted Answer

Quoted by WhatsApp as a designed system — indicative only — because a CM20 into an existing Teams room and a five-microphone Dante hall with DSP are different projects wearing the same category name. Send the room dimensions, ceiling type and platform; the engineered AED figure returns the same day.
