Description
Yealink WH64 DECT + Bluetooth Wireless Headset | Mono & Dual Dubai
Your desk phone is on the left, Teams is open on the PC, and your mobile starts ringing while you’re already on a customer call. Then you stand up to grab a file and the headset drops connection halfway across the office. That’s a normal workday for a lot of sales, support and reception teams in Dubai.
The Yealink WH64 is built for that desk. It combines DECT and Bluetooth 5.2 in one wireless headset, with a base that connects to a PC and compatible IP phone while the headset itself handles Bluetooth mobile connectivity. You can move away from the desk, take calls without swapping headsets, and choose either Mono or Dual depending on how much awareness you need around you. For buyers comparing Yealink wireless headsets in Dubai, this is the model to look at when DECT desk range and direct Bluetooth both matter.

Mono or Dual — Which WH64 Should You Order?
The electronics and core wireless platform are the same idea. The real buying decision is whether the user needs one ear open to the room or wants both ears covered for better concentration.
| Variant | Weight | DECT Talk Time | Best Fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| WH64 Mono | 92 g | Up to 14 hours | Reception, supervisors, front desk, staff who need to hear colleagues nearby |
| WH64 Dual | 151 g | Up to 16 hours | Sales, support, contact desks and open-plan offices where concentration matters |
Don’t choose Dual just because it looks more serious
A receptionist who needs to hear a visitor at the counter usually gets more practical use from Mono. A sales user sitting beside 20 other people in an open office will normally prefer Dual. Same family. Different working style.
Why DECT + Bluetooth Changes the Desk Setup
A normal Bluetooth office headset is fine while you stay relatively close to the desk. DECT is designed for a different job: stable business calling over a longer working area around the base. The WH64 gives you both wireless systems in the same headset.
The current WH64 specification lists DECT coverage up to 185 metres in suitable open conditions. Indoors, that number comes down because Dubai offices aren’t empty warehouses. Concrete cores, meeting-room glass, metal partitions, lifts and server rooms all affect radio coverage. Even so, DECT gives staff far more freedom around a normal office floor than a short-range desktop headset connection.
Bluetooth is in the headset
This is an important WH64 detail. Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity is built into the headset itself, rather than being treated only as a radio connection inside the desk base. That makes direct mobile use more practical when the user steps away from the desk.
For a Dubai sales desk, that can mean a Teams call on the PC in the morning, a desk-phone conversation later, then a mobile call while walking to another part of the office. One headset. Fewer device swaps during the day.
The Microphone Design Is More Interesting Than the Spec Sheet Looks
Three MEMS microphones work with Yealink Acoustic Shield Technology 3.0 to separate the user’s voice from surrounding sound. That’s useful in places where the background never really goes quiet: HVAC supply running above the desk, conversations carrying through glass partitions, keyboards, printers and people walking between workstations.
Yealink also changed the physical microphone position. The WH64 boom reaches 135.7 mm, which Yealink describes as a 74% increase from a 78 mm design. That’s not cosmetic. Bringing the microphone closer to the mouth gives the processing system a stronger voice signal to work with before it starts reducing surrounding noise.
Boom-up mute
Raise the microphone boom and the microphone can mute. Lower it again to return to the call. For users moving between customer calls and quick conversations with colleagues, that physical action is easier to remember than searching for an on-screen mute control.
Built-in busylight
The headset includes a visible busylight so people around the user can see when a call is active. An external busy-light option can also be used where a larger desk or cubicle signal is needed.
Teams Version or UC Version?
WH64 Mono and Dual are each sold in Microsoft Teams and UC versions. The physical headset format stays familiar, but the Teams-labelled model is intended for organisations standardising their calling workflow around Microsoft Teams.
| SKU Type | Part Number | Use Case |
|---|---|---|
| WH64 Mono Teams | 1208671 | Teams-standard offices needing single-ear awareness |
| WH64 Mono UC | 1208672 | General UC and business calling deployments |
| WH64 Dual UC | 1208673 | General UC users needing two-ear coverage |
| WH64 Dual Teams | 1208674 | Teams-heavy sales and support desks |
Microsoft lists the WH64 Mono and Dual family as certified for Microsoft Teams. If your company is standardising hundreds of user desks in DIFC, DMCC or Abu Dhabi, specify the Teams or UC version at quotation stage rather than letting both versions get mixed into the same project.
Battery Life — Mono and Dual Are Not Identical
Battery figures change depending on whether the headset is being used over DECT or Bluetooth. That matters when comparing models, because quoting one big number without saying which wireless mode produced it can be misleading.
| Mode | WH64 Mono | WH64 Dual |
|---|---|---|
| DECT talk time | Up to 14 hours | Up to 16 hours |
| Bluetooth talk time | Up to 26 hours | Up to 32 hours |
| Bluetooth music time | Up to 41 hours | Up to 48 hours |

Hearing Protection for Full-Day Users
A headset worn for one short call is one thing. A headset worn from 8AM through most of the working day is another. The WH64 documentation includes hearing-protection functions designed for repeated business use, including Peak Block protection and daily-noise-exposure controls.
That makes the specification relevant to call-heavy teams, service desks and operations staff where headsets are worn for hours rather than minutes. It doesn’t remove the need for sensible listening levels, but it gives IT and procurement teams something more concrete to assess than speaker volume alone.
Managing WH64 Headsets Across More Than One Office
Buying 2 headsets is easy. Buying 80 across Dubai and Abu Dhabi is where device management starts to matter. The WH64 can be managed locally through Yealink USB Connect and can also sit inside Yealink Management Cloud Service for organisations running Yealink devices at scale.
That gives IT teams a cleaner way to handle configuration and estate visibility instead of treating every headset as an isolated accessory. For organisations already using Yealink phones or meeting-room hardware, keeping headset deployment inside the same vendor environment can reduce the amount of desk-by-desk support work.
WH64 is not WH64 Hybrid or WH64 Workstation
Those are separate WH64-family products with different connectivity and base options. This page covers the standard WH64 Mono and Dual models only. If your project specifically calls for WH64 Hybrid or WH64 Workstation, quote that exact model instead of assuming the specifications are interchangeable.
What Comes in the WH64 Box?
The standard WH64 package includes the headset, WHB640 base, power adapter, required connection cables, drawstring bag and quick start guide. The exact headset inside the box depends on the SKU you order: Mono or Dual, Teams or UC.
That SKU check matters on company orders. If 40 users need Dual Teams and 10 reception users need Mono UC, we separate those lines before dispatch instead of letting four similar-looking part numbers arrive in one pile.
Not included — order separately if needed
External BLT60 busylight, additional desk-phone interface accessories where required, replacement cables and spare charging accessories are separate items. Compatibility depends on the phone model and desk setup, so we check that before adding anything to the order.
Will WH64 Work With Your Desk Phone?
The WH64 base connects to a PC and supported IP phone setup. For Yealink desk-phone estates, that gives users one headset position at the desk without keeping separate audio devices for softphone and phone calls.
The important word is supported. We don’t treat every phone with a USB socket as automatically compatible. Exact call-control behaviour can change by phone model, connection method and whether an additional interface accessory is needed. If your office already runs Yealink T5, T4 or another IP-phone family, send us the phone model before ordering the headset quantity and we’ll match the correct connection.
For users on Etisalat or du business voice services, the carrier is normally feeding the office phone or PBX. The WH64 isn’t a SIP endpoint and doesn’t register to Etisalat or du itself. It sits at the user end of the call through the compatible desk phone, PC application or Bluetooth mobile connection. That distinction saves a lot of confusion during rollouts.
Where WH64 Fits in a Dubai Office
A Mono WH64 makes sense at a reception desk in JLT where the user needs to hear both the caller and the person standing in front of them. Dual makes more sense on a sales floor in Business Bay where 20 people are speaking at once and both ears need to stay on the customer call.
For DIFC and DMCC offices with glass partitions, the three-microphone system is useful because it is working against a very specific problem: other conversations reflecting around hard surfaces and reaching the caller. Add the longer 135.7 mm microphone boom and the voice source sits physically closer to the microphones before processing begins.
The WH64 also suits support desks, internal IT teams, recruitment offices, clinics, logistics coordinators and back-office staff who spend a large part of the day on calls but still need to move away from the workstation. Up to 185 metres is the stated DECT figure in suitable open conditions. Inside a real UAE office, walls and concrete will reduce that. We size expectations around the actual floor, not the headline number.

Related Yealink Products for the Same Desk
WH64 is the DECT + Bluetooth choice when users need proper desk range and mobile connectivity in the same headset. Other desk profiles may suit a different model.
Yealink WH63 — a lighter monaural DECT option for users who want a compact one-ear wearing style and don’t need the WH64’s newer dual-radio format.
Yealink BH74 — Bluetooth business headset with active noise cancellation for staff who spend more time moving between laptop, mobile and client sites than walking around one office base.
Yealink BH70 — Bluetooth office headset for teams that need long battery life and mobility without active noise cancellation.
Yealink BH72 — on-ear Bluetooth headset with a retractable microphone arm for laptop and mobile workers who don’t need DECT coverage from a fixed base.
Yealink UH34 — wired USB headset when the user stays at the desk and the project doesn’t need wireless movement.
Yealink Headsets Dubai — compare DECT, Bluetooth and wired models across the wider headset range.
Yealink IP Phones — useful when the headset order is part of a new desk-phone rollout rather than a replacement headset project.
Company Rollouts Across Dubai and Abu Dhabi
One WH64 takes a few minutes to sort out. A rollout across 60 desks needs more discipline. We confirm Mono or Dual by user role, Teams or UC by application setup, desk-phone models by department, then keep the SKU split clean for IT.
Pre-order check — Confirm Mono or Dual, Teams or UC, quantity, PC connection and existing desk-phone model.
User setup — Connect the WHB640 base, pair Bluetooth where required, verify microphone mute behaviour and test incoming and outgoing audio.
Fleet handover — Group the correct variants by department and confirm the management path for Yealink USB Connect or YMCS where the customer is using central device administration.
Yealink WH64 UAE supply and setup support covers Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. For headset projects, installation means compatibility checking, connection, pairing, call testing and rollout support rather than sending an engineer to drill anything into a wall. Setup is included.
WH64 for Contact Desks, Sales Teams and Shared Offices
The strongest WH64 use case is a fixed desk where the user isn’t actually fixed to the chair. Sales staff stand up to check paperwork. Operations teams walk to another screen. Managers move between their desk and the glass meeting room beside it while staying on the same call.
That’s where DECT and Bluetooth together make sense. DECT handles the office-base side of the job. Bluetooth handles the mobile side. The three-microphone array and Acoustic Shield 3.0 are then doing their work against the AC, nearby voices and normal office movement instead of expecting the room itself to become quiet.
Yealink WH64 Export From Dubai
We supply WH64 project quantities from Dubai to enterprise procurement teams and IT resellers in South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya. Ghana and Egypt are also regular headset export markets for corporate office and contact-desk requirements.
Mono, Dual, Teams and UC quantities can be separated on the quotation so mixed-user projects don’t arrive as one undifferentiated shipment. FOB Dubai pricing is available for reseller and project orders.
For larger deployments, send the destination country, quantity and preferred WH64 variants on WhatsApp. We can prepare the order around department quantities rather than forcing every user onto the same headset style.
Exports leave Dubai with the commercial documents required for the shipment route. Freight method and final lead time depend on quantity and destination.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I buy WH64 Mono or Dual for our staff?
Choose Mono when the user needs to hear people around them, such as reception, supervisory or front-desk roles. Choose Dual when both-ear coverage helps concentration in sales, support and open-plan environments. Mono weighs 92 g; Dual weighs 151 g.
Will the Yealink WH64 work with our desk phones?
It connects through the WHB640 base to supported IP phone setups and PC calling applications. Exact call control depends on the phone model and connection method. Send us the desk-phone model before ordering and we’ll confirm the correct setup.
Does WH64 connect directly to an Etisalat or du mobile?
Yes, for normal mobile calling the headset can connect to a compatible smartphone over Bluetooth 5.2. For office Etisalat or du SIP services, the WH64 normally works through the compatible desk phone or PC application rather than registering to the carrier itself.
How far can I walk from the WH64 base?
Yealink states up to 185 metres of DECT range in suitable open conditions. Real indoor range will be lower where concrete walls, lifts, metal structures and multiple partitions sit between the headset and base.
Do you set up WH64 headsets for company rollouts in Dubai and Abu Dhabi?
Yes. We check the variant, connect the base, pair Bluetooth where required, test the microphone and call controls, and group multi-user orders by department. Supply and setup support covers all 7 UAE emirates.
