Description
Yealink W41P DECT Desk Phone Dubai
The reception counter is finished. Glass partitions are already in. Power is available under the desk, but nobody planned an Ethernet point where the phone has to sit. Running another Cat6 cable now means opening trunking, calling facilities and turning a basic phone job into half a day of work.
That is the sort of installation the Yealink W41P was built for. It gives the user a fixed T41S-style desk phone, but the connection back to the phone system travels over DECT through the W60B base. At the desk, the phone needs power rather than a dedicated network cable. Useful at reception, a security desk, a warehouse counter or a temporary office where you want a proper keypad and line keys without moving to a cordless handset.
For existing Yealink W41P UAE deployments, it also has another role: replacement and expansion. Plenty of older offices in Dubai, JLT and DMCC still have W60B-based DECT systems doing their job. If one desk needs to stay fixed while nearby staff use DECT handsets, the W41P architecture keeps both device types on the same DECT system.

What the W41P Actually Is
The Yealink W41P is not a cordless handset placed in a charging cradle. It is a fixed DECT desk-phone arrangement built around three parts: a Yealink T41S desk phone, a DD10K USB DECT dongle and a W60B DECT base station. The DD10K gives the desk phone its wireless link to the base.
That distinction matters. A receptionist still gets a full-size handset, physical dial pad, dedicated function keys and 6 illuminated line keys. The phone stays where it belongs. Nobody walks off with it. Yet the desk position does not need its own Ethernet run back to the network cabinet.
The W60B base is the network side of the arrangement. It connects to your LAN through its RJ45 Ethernet port and supports up to 8 VoIP accounts, up to 8 registered compatible DECT endpoints and up to 8 simultaneous calls. In a small Dubai office, one correctly positioned W60B can therefore serve a mix of fixed DD10K-equipped desk phones and compatible Yealink DECT handsets rather than forcing every user onto the same physical phone type.
A desk phone without an Ethernet point at the desk
The W41P desk unit communicates with the W60B through DECT. That makes it useful when a reception counter, showroom desk or temporary workstation has mains power but no practical LAN outlet. The network cable stays at the W60B instead of running all the way to the user position.
Fixed-phone controls for users who don’t want a handset
The 2.7-inch 192 × 64 graphical LCD, 6 LED line keys and large physical keypad give receptionists and desk-based staff a familiar office-phone layout. This is the main reason to use a W41P-style device instead of handing every user a small roaming DECT handset.
Works inside W60B and compatible W80B deployments
Yealink documented DD Phone compatibility with both W60B and W80B systems. That matters when an older single-base office expands into a larger DECT deployment. Existing compatible desk endpoints don’t automatically become useless just because the DECT infrastructure grows.
DECT Coverage — Read the 50 Metres Properly
Yealink specifies the W60B at roughly 30 to 50 metres indoors, with 50 metres being the ideal indoor figure, and up to 300 metres outdoors in ideal clear conditions. That does not mean you should expect a clean 50-metre circle through every office wall.
Dubai offices can be awkward for DECT. Glass meeting-room partitions are usually easy compared with reinforced concrete cores, lift shafts, fire doors and back-of-house walls. A W60B mounted near the centre of a 250-square-metre office can behave very differently from the same base hidden in a communications cabinet behind two block walls.
For a single reception desk 10 or 15 metres from the base, this is normally straightforward. For a warehouse with racks, a clinic split into many treatment rooms or a multi-floor office, base location should be checked before assuming the published maximum will cover every desk.
If your requirement is broader than one W60B coverage area, see the Yealink DECT phone range rather than adding hardware at random. A larger DECT design may need a different base architecture or repeaters depending on the building.
Phone Controls and Audio
The W41P uses the T41S desk-phone interface, so the user gets a 2.7-inch backlit graphical display rather than the smaller screen normally associated with older DECT handsets. Six physical line keys with LED indicators sit beside the display, while 15 programmable paperless DSS positions can be used for regularly accessed call functions.
Yealink HD Voice is available through both handset and speakerphone operation. The phone supports wideband G.722 audio, while the full-duplex speakerphone uses acoustic echo cancellation. For a reception desk where someone may answer 60 or 80 calls across a working day, the physical handset and speaker controls are often more practical than repeatedly picking up a mobile-style DECT handset.
Hearing Aid Compatibility is also documented for the DD Phone configuration. For offices with accessibility requirements, that is a useful procurement detail rather than something to discover after the phone has already been installed.

The W41P is a SIP phone arrangement, not a Microsoft Teams or Zoom desk endpoint. The W60B handles SIP registration to the office phone system, while the desk unit communicates with the base over DECT. For companies using a conventional SIP PABX, that keeps the telephone service separate from the physical network connection at the desk.
In Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices using Etisalat/e& or du business voice services, the exact configuration depends on the PABX or hosted SIP service in front of the W60B. We configure the W60B against the customer’s phone-system credentials rather than assuming every carrier service uses the same registration method.
If you are planning a full new phone rollout rather than maintaining an existing W41P system, it is also worth checking the current Yealink IP phone range alongside the DECT options. The W41P reached end-of-sale on 30 September 2022, so a new project should be designed around current hardware unless there is a specific compatibility reason to stay with this model.
Where the W41P Fits — and Where It Doesn’t
| Deployment | Fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Reception Counter | Good fit | Fixed phone controls without a dedicated LAN point at the desk |
| Security / Gate Desk | Good fit | Phone remains fixed while DECT carries the connection back to the base |
| Existing W60B System | Good fit | Useful for replacement or expansion where W41P/DD10K compatibility is already required |
| Staff Who Must Walk While Calling | Wrong fit | Choose a cordless DECT handset instead of a fixed desk unit |
| Brand-New 2026 Rollout | Usually wrong fit | W41P is end-of-sale; current hardware should normally be specified |
Not the right fit?
If this is a brand-new office phone deployment, don’t choose the W41P simply because you found the model number on an old equipment list. Yealink ended sales of the W41P on 30 September 2022 and recommends the T54W with DD10K as the replacement route. If users need to walk around a warehouse, clinic or hospitality floor while speaking, choose a cordless model from the Yealink DECT phone range instead. The W41P makes the most sense when the phone must stay on the desk or when an existing W60B/W80B installation specifically needs this device type.
Desk Deployment, DECT and Call Handling
The W41P doesn’t use BYOD, USB presentation sharing or meeting-room content sharing. It is a SIP voice endpoint built for fixed desk use over DECT. That sounds obvious, but it matters when older equipment lists mix DECT phones, conference units and video-room hardware under one procurement sheet.
The desk phone talks wirelessly to the W60B base through the DD10K DECT dongle. The W60B then handles the network and SIP side. So the user can sit at a reception counter with a normal desk handset while the Ethernet connection remains 10 or 20 metres away at the base station.
For offices already using Yealink DECT, that also allows fixed and cordless users to sit on the same phone architecture. Reception might use the W41P while operations staff carry W56H, W57R or another compatible handset. Different physical phones. Same DECT base layer.
PABX Compatibility in Dubai and UAE Offices
The W41P reaches the office phone system through the W60B’s SIP registration. That means PABX compatibility is determined by the SIP account and configuration on the base rather than by a network cable plugged directly into the desk phone.
This is useful in mixed offices where the PABX is already installed and the only problem is getting a desk phone to a location without structured cabling. We configure the W60B with the customer-provided SIP extension details, register the W41P endpoint, place inbound and outbound test calls and check audio at the actual desk position.
For Etisalat/e& and du business voice deployments, we don’t assume one universal setup. Some sites use an on-premise PABX, others use hosted SIP services, and some have an SBC or gateway between the carrier and the phones. The registration path is checked before installation.
If you are replacing a full desk-phone estate rather than one W41P position, compare the current Yealink IP phone range as well. For new installations where cabling isn’t a problem, a current Ethernet or Wi-Fi desk phone may make more sense than rebuilding around an end-of-sale W41P.
What’s in the W41P Package
The original W41P package is based on the T41S desk phone, DD10K DECT dongle and W60B DECT base. Power components and standard installation accessories depend on the regional package and remaining stock source.
Because this model has been end-of-sale since September 2022, don’t assume every remaining unit in the market is a complete original retail bundle. For replacement orders, confirm whether you need the full W41P package, only the DD10K, only a compatible desk phone, or a replacement W60B base.
Check before ordering
Existing W41P systems don’t always need another complete kit. Send us the model numbers already on site — W60B, T41S, DD10K and any handsets — and we can identify the part actually required. For a new deployment, the current Yealink replacement route should be considered instead.
Stock & Availability: Yealink W41P availability in Dubai is based on remaining or replacement stock because the model is end-of-sale. Same-day quote on WhatsApp. Project quantities and alternative-model pricing available. Ships to Africa, GCC and South Asia where suitable for the destination network and project requirement.
Related Yealink Phones and DECT Parts
The W41P usually comes up when an office is repairing an existing DECT installation or deciding whether to keep it. These are the products and categories worth checking at the same time:
| Product / Range | When to Consider It |
|---|---|
| Yealink T54W | Current replacement direction when a new fixed desk-phone deployment is being planned. |
| Yealink DD10K | Useful when the desk phone itself is compatible and the requirement is specifically to add DECT connectivity. |
| Yealink W73P | Better when the user needs to carry the handset and move around the office. |
| Yealink W74P / W74H | Current W7x-family option for businesses replacing older cordless DECT hardware. |
| Yealink W57R | Consider for staff who need a rugged cordless handset rather than a fixed reception phone. |
| Yealink W70B | Current DECT base option to review when an older W60B installation is being redesigned. |
| Yealink DECT Phones | Compare current bases, handsets and replacement options before extending an older system. |
Where We Still See W41P-Type Installations
Reception desks are the obvious one. A receptionist doesn’t normally need to walk around with the phone, but moving the network point after the counter has been built can be messy. The W41P keeps the phone fixed and puts the network connection at the W60B instead.
Security counters are similar. In a warehouse or commercial building, the guard desk may be away from the main communications cabinet. As long as the DECT signal reaches the position reliably, there is no need to run a dedicated Ethernet cable only for the phone.
Clinics and small medical centres can have the same issue after rooms are repartitioned. A desk gets moved, a glass wall appears, and suddenly the old network outlet is on the wrong side of the room. DECT can solve that last section without changing the PABX.
Temporary project offices are another case. Fit-out contractors in Dubai sometimes need a proper desk phone for six or twelve months but don’t want to add permanent cabling to a leased space. Fixed DECT can work well there, provided the W60B coverage is tested rather than assumed from the 50-metre ideal figure.
Yealink W41P UAE Supply and Installation
Yealink W41P supply and installation is available in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain where remaining stock or suitable replacement parts are available. For existing systems, send us a photo of the base station label and the desk-phone model before ordering. That avoids buying a complete bundle when one component is actually the problem.
In DIFC and DMCC offices, we also check the base position before replacing hardware. HVAC plant rooms, concrete lift cores and metal service cupboards can reduce practical DECT coverage far more than a glass partition does. Moving the base two metres can sometimes fix a weak desk position without adding another device.
Installation includes DECT registration, SIP setup using the customer’s phone-system credentials and live inbound/outbound call testing. Yealink Dubai handles installations across all 7 UAE emirates. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}
W41P Export from Dubai
For existing telecom installations outside the UAE, remaining W41P and related DECT stock can be supplied from Dubai where available. Typical enquiries come from PABX installers and telecom resellers maintaining older Yealink estates in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, Mozambique and Angola.
For project quantities, send the exact part required rather than only “W41P.” A customer may need the full bundle, a W60B, DD10K or a replacement desk endpoint. We check the requested configuration before quoting.
FOB Dubai pricing is available for export orders. Destination-country telecom requirements remain the buyer’s responsibility, particularly where an older DECT or SIP deployment is being maintained.
For new projects, we can quote current Yealink DECT hardware alongside the W41P replacement request so the integrator can compare the cost of repairing the old estate against moving to a current platform.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I still buy a Yealink W41P in Dubai?
Possibly, but availability is based on remaining stock because Yealink ended normal sales of the W41P on 30 September 2022. WhatsApp +971 55 986 3697 with the quantity you need. For existing installations, include the model numbers of the W60B, T41S and DD10K already on site.
Do I need an Ethernet cable at the W41P desk?
The W41P desk phone connects to the W60B over DECT through the DD10K dongle, so the desk position doesn’t require the normal Ethernet connection back to the LAN. The W60B itself connects to the network. That is the main reason this setup was useful at reception counters and other fixed desks without a nearby data outlet.
Will the W41P work across our whole Dubai office?
Yealink quotes roughly 30–50 metres of indoor DECT coverage, with 50 metres under ideal conditions. Concrete cores, fire doors, lift shafts and metal cupboards reduce that distance. For larger premises we check the W60B position and building layout before relying on the maximum figure.
Can the W41P work with Etisalat/e& or du business phone service?
The W41P works through SIP registration on the W60B. Whether it connects into an Etisalat/e& or du deployment depends on the PABX, hosted voice platform or SIP equipment used at that site. We check the existing phone-system configuration before setting up the base rather than assuming direct carrier registration.
What should I buy instead of the W41P for a new office?
Yealink recommends moving to a current desk-phone arrangement rather than starting a new W41P deployment. The T54W with DD10K is the documented replacement direction. If the user needs to walk around while speaking, a current model from the Yealink DECT handset range is usually the better choice.
Do you install and configure replacement W41P units in Abu Dhabi as well as Dubai?
Yes. Installation covers Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and all 7 UAE emirates. We can register the DECT endpoint, configure the W60B with the supplied SIP details and complete a live call test before handover.
Need a Yealink W41P for an existing Dubai or UAE DECT installation? Send us the W60B, T41S and DD10K model details you already have. We will check remaining stock or the correct current replacement before quoting. Monday to Saturday, 8AM to 6PM.
