What is the range of a Yealink DECT phone?

Up to 50 metres indoors and up to 300 metres outdoors per base station. Walls and metal reduce this. Repeaters extend one base; multi-cell W80/W90 systems cover whole buildings. We test real coverage in the site survey.

Does a DECT system work with my existing PABX?

Yes — it registers to 3CX, Grandstream UCM, Yeastar, Asterisk, Avaya and Etisalat or du SIP trunks like any extension. Handsets receive transfers and join call groups exactly like desk phones.

Yes — with a multi-cell W80 or W90 system. Many base stations connect into one network and handsets roam the whole site without dropping calls. These are designed from a site survey and installed as a project.
